Warmshine Spa in-Filter Mineral Sticks for Hot Tub Filter Cartridge(2 Sticks)

I bought one of these before. In just two months, the extention broke off and went inside to the hottub pump. Told be pool and spa this happens frequently. After draining hottub, and repairman removing piece, hottub is now working. Fortunately wasn't caught in the pump.

The extender tube that is supposed to keep this in a position where you can retrieve it broke off, and the sanitizer dropped all the way down into the filtration pipe. Two days of effort to retrieve it with forceps, gripper claws, a wire coat hanger, even a shop vac didn't work. I had to call in a technician to fix it. Get a better product and save the service call, and the empty hot tub you have to refill and heat.

I believe that this is the second two pack of these sanitizers that I have purchased. I can only assume that they perform like the more expensive ones; there have been no indications to the contrary. They are just as easy to install. They arrived quickly.

Great product so far. Fit right into the filter in my hot tub. Water is nice and clear and smells like a clean hot tub without having to use a bunch of chemicals.

The sticks do not screw into the spa filter as I hoped. They appeared to be the same as the stick last used in the filter. The stick can remain “loose” in the filter screen area. I was sufficiently disappointed that I returned to the spa store & purchased a more expensive stick that fits (screws in) the filter. I certainly will not purchased the product again.

I recommend this product to any Hot Tub owner. I have been using this product for several years now, it keeps the tub fresh & the water clear and sanitized.

Hoping to find a natural way to help balance my hot tub with less chemicals, this just doesn't do anything at all.

Hard to tell since I use chlorine along with the this mineral stick. So far so good.
