Like the fly-swatters from my childhood
Wow - thought this was a lot of money for a set of 3 fly-swatters until I received them - some of the best money I've ever spent - these are heavy-duty, like the ones I remember as a kid. Nice sturdy heavy metal handles; a nice, substantial 'flapper' - these should take out just about anything they encounter. Definitely recommended! Bought the 3 pack - one for our primary home; one for our cabin, and one for our "beach kit" that we take to the shore every summer.

Best fly swatter ever
Best fly swatter ever heavy duty construction, but beware where you swing it you break stuff. You hit the bug square it’s like swing a baseball bat. You’ll be saying what bug?

Check local regulations for carrying.
This is a very sturdy fly swatter. Regular swatters bend when I assault the flys. This is not acceptable. This swatter is durable, and the swatting portion is thick. When aggressively attacking the flys and bugs in anger and frustration, be careful not to damage the walls, cupboards, dishes, or loved ones. The stiffness of the handle also allows for air-to-air dogfighting with the flying beasts. No more bent and wimpy swatters. The swatter portion is sturdy enough to flip pancakes in a pinch (just tell them those are chocolate chips or blueberries) but will melt if on the griddle or grill for too long. The black paint and shape do not seem to appear on bug radar as well as normal ones despite the beefy build. This allows a more successful sneak attack on average (this is not yet backed by study).I would like to add a Picatinny rail and a holo sight . This may violate local hunting laws and bag limits should be verified before modification.

you have to try it to believe how good it is
first of all this is nothing like those cheap flyswatters that break or fall apart in a few days. the metal handle is so strong you can not bend it with your bare fingers, you need tools. mine arrived dented ... someone obviously dropped a box on them so only one side was strait. i could not bend the slanted side barehanded im 6 feet tall and just under 300 lbs so i think i was able to put a decent amount of force on it. the rubber swatter part is thick and heavy, but not brittle u can bend it almost 180 backwards/forwards until it the top edge touches the wire handle over and over and it will just laugh at you. it also has a handy scraper on the top edge to scrape the remains off of your windshield/wall/whatever

Design change
I’ve had the original version of the flyswatter for several years. They have finally worn out after killing thousands of flies, as I live close to a horse property. After ordering the new ones, I realize that the handle is now much shorter. This unfortunately affects the velocity and swiftness of the swatter, making it less reliable. I am able to switch out the plastic from the old swatter with the plastic of the new swatter, because I still got three handles from the old swatters and the plastic is removable. Barring all this, I think this swatter, despite the stupefying money driven design change is still one of the better ones around in terms of durability. Comfort and effectiveness, however, have decreased because of the shortened handle.
