Great Watch, poor HRM/belt design
It does what you would expect from a watch of this caliber. The thing I like better on this watch than other watches is the display. The watch face size is not too bulky and you can display 3 metrics on the screen. The top and bottom numbers are small but the center number is VERY large. When I'm running in cold and my eyes are watering or its dark, the large number is easy to see. I can even take a quick glance at the numbers mid swimming stroke. I really like the large number. Using the website you can define what metrics (Distance, Pace, HeartRate, etc.etc.) show on the screen. Every time you press the center button, the screen changes and displays the next user defined metric. The watch supports about every sport I can think of with specific metrics for each sport.HOWEVER, the HRM/belt is poorly designed. I've had the watch and HRM for 13 months. During that time I generally run 3 times a week for a total of 17 miles. After 13 months my HR readings were skipping large portions of my runs and eventually not reading at all. I tried changing batteries, thorough cleaning, switching around the strap until I discovered that I could sometimes get it going by wiggling the connectors - a clear indication electrical contact is not being made. It looks like this is a common problem. Look up the HRM itself on Amazon and read the reviews there. Very sad such a good watch completely choked with a poor HRM connector design.Unlike some reviewers here, I've found the connector cable between the computer and watch to be a great design. The clothes-pin style clamp works well.

Great Unit
I like the band, love the HR strap. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I can't turn it off. I own a GPS watch I can completely turn off to save battery. I never plan to wear this watch for "time telling" purposes, but overall the watch works great. You can set up your activities online and preprogram the settings (I.E. GPS on or off, HR strap on or off, 1 second or 10 second GPS reading interval). Makes it nice to not be forced to configure the watch using tons of button pushes on the watch. I'd buy this unit again and again.

HR missing in bundle
The bundle sold by Princeton Watches does not have the heart rate monitor. Watch out!

It is an amazing watch that I have used several times since it ...
Face of the watch is a little big for my small wrist but the features on the Ambit2 totally make up for the size. It is an amazing watch that I have used several times since it was purchased. I run triathlons and was looking for a watch that was able to track me for all areas of a tri and this watch meets and exceeds those expectations. I would definitely recommend this watch to any triathlete or runner.

Two Stars
It's too complicated and not user friendly for me. I returned it.

No complaint, you should buy it.
Excelent piece of work. it just does what you expect and more, is incredibly simple and elegant, easy to use and download data. The web interface is quite simple too but reloaded with information. It is just great. I havent test it in a swimpool but everything else works perfect. Gps and hearth rate connection Is incredible fast, just in seconds. (les than 10sec).
