Good on smaller logs
Have used on various sizes of logs and it can get stuck in bigger sized logs. But if you keep smashing it with a hammer then it should eventually split it.

Boyfriend loves it
Bought for my boyfriends birthday, to use on the big logs he has stored as they would not fit under his saw machine, he loves it and it give him a bit of a work out.. I even tired it and it was quite easy to split the logs

Not great
I very nearly sent this back but relented because it does sort of work. If you have perfectly dry logs which aren’t too thick it will split them. It won’t split any damp logs though. In fact you end up, hammering it in and then having to hit hell out of it to get it back out again.But in almost all occasions, it would’ve been quicker and less effort to use a log splitting axe.It’s on the shelf in my workshop and unlikely to be used again.
