The Occult I Ching: The Secret Language of Serpents

The book is a five star. This a one of my favorite I Ching Oracles as it adds a whole new dimension to my readings. I received two damaged books, and Alisha resolved my issue promptly. Amazon is the only company I buy books from, and the seller took care of the damaged book in an honest and timely fashion.

This volume now sits beside my copies of Total I Ching by Karcher and the comparative online edition published by James DeKorne as primary source material when studying the iChing. The introduction and historical section are among the best I have ever read. The connections with DNA are fascinating. The speculations on iChing and AI are illuminative. As I read through the text of each hexagram, I discovered many insights I have not found anywhere else. Maja shares insight from decades of practical experience reading for herself and others and cross pollinates the information with her incredible wealth of esoteric scholarship and experiences. I was able to go back to past readings reading in my personal journals and shed more light on some things that had been unclear. This book brings a great trove of information and compassionate wisdom that has been hidden or obscured from view and as such is an invaluable treasure to anyone who is using the Oracle.

The book itself is well made - easy to lay open/flat and spine doesn’t crease. Cover has a nice feel.Contents are excellent; very well done. Historical references, personal examples and concise writing make it easy to follow. Can feel that a lot of love and work went into this.

I love this version of the I Ching. The hexagrams are simple to understand and her metaphors are reasonable

Maja is an esoteric encyclopedia, and that shines through here. Her explanations of the hexagrams complement and enhance Wilhelm's translation so well. Would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in or already using the I Ching for divination.

This interpretation of the I Ching is quite different from the classics but all the same it is insanely great. Fantastic insights into the ego/psyche. This is the Red pill. Enjoy the ride.

This book is full of a lot of confusing mumbo-jumbo, that does not help in any way,in working with the I Ching. There is so much extra material here that the I Chinggets rather lost in the jumble of confusion from the S. Karcher influence. i like this book so much,i ching correspondences with tarot cards is very helpful and as well as useful.
