Remarkably Well Designed
For a simple metal bracket, this piece is remarkably well crafted. It is made of metal, and uses metal screws. The screws that hold the rear plate of the bracket to the front retaining bar of the bracket are captured inside of the sliders based on the width of the inside diameter compared to the width of the outside screw thread diameter.Everything appears to be made with care and thoughtfulness.

Allows usage of the Hero 8 Black on the WG2X Gimbal
Works as expected and the gimbal balances without any issues.

The mount works but the camera is heavy for the Gimble.
I bought the adapter to use with my go pro 8.. The adapter fits but the Gimble will not handle the weight of the camera. The adapter is useless because of the Camera weight. In defense of the adapter and the Gimble there is a weight warning on the adapter description page before I purchased it but took a chance.

Not perfect adapter for GoPros
The camera mount's hole doesn't have sider to adjust the distance for different kind of cameras and if you set the balance weight on the gimbal arm then you can't lock it anymore to travel....

Saved me money
I purchased this attachment to replace the previous one that came with the action camera gimbal I purchased last year. I recently purchased a GoPro Hero 8 Black (I jumped the gun too soon I could’ve gotten the Hero 9 black but any way lol) I purchased my camera but it wasn’t compatible with the gimbal. I purchased this attachment and it made for the best alternative to spending any unnecessary money on a brand new gimbal. Fits perfectly and I have no complaints. Would recommend if you need a gimbal upgraded to a camera upgrade but with little money out of pocket.

Purchased for Insta360 One R
I purchased the Feiyu G6 originally for my GoPro 6. After upgrading my camera to the Insta360 One R, I was deeply disappointed that it wouldn’t fit in the gimbal. Put on the new plate and to my surprise the screws were wide enough to hold the camera. I now don’t have to purchase a new gimbal!
