Very handy to use. I haven't used it a bunch but seems very helpful.
It seemed better than the silicone craft sheets I have used. It is slicker, easier to store, and it cleans quickly and cleanly.

Nice
Seems like you can probably find something comparable for less money. But it works under my paintings. I wish I had bought something bigger but that’s on me.

Made by Sealer... not by Ranger
I purchased mine through GreenBoxes2U and what I received was a version made by Sealer Supply. It's 3ml thick. While nothing may stick to it, it will develop tiny little holes in it where the ink will grab and spread through the threads of it. This happened the second time I used it. More spots have come up in the few times I've used it since then. I'm not impressed. I contacted Amazon and the seller, and while my money was refunded in full with an apology from the seller claiming that he didn't realize it wasn't the same, it shouldn't be listed under the Ranger sheet.Update July 24th: I recently went directly to the Sealer Supply site and saw that they sell the 3ml thick AND the 5ml thick craft sheet. I wanted a much larger craft sheet, and in one piece, and they actually sell it by the foot. The 5ml sheet is actually really great. I've used it daily for about a week and a half. No holes, wrinkles, or sticking of anything. I'm updating this because I see that some of the sheets are being advertised as the 5ml thick sheets, and this makes a big difference from the 3ml thick ones. I ordered 36"x36" and it's wonderful (it was under $30 and that included $9 shipping to Hawaii). So, I guess I've changed my mind. Why pay twice as much for the Ranger, when I've got a much larger 5ml sheet that Sealer Supply has made with the same quality at 5ml? Even if it were the same size, I like saving money. :)

a must have
i am so glad i got this craft sheet. first, i can soak up all the glimmermist that did not get on my project off the sheet with a different {or the same} piece of paper so all that pretty glimmermist is not wasted. i have had a lot of fun doing this and seeing the different ways the colors come out. this also works with distressing ink. use the residual ink on the sheet or wipe your ink pad across, spray with some water, and soak it up! this mat is so easy to clean - after a spritz of water the inks wipe right up and once glue dries it just chips right off. i also like that i can use my craft iron on it. the only thing i did not like at first was the weight of the sheet. i was expecting and would have liked a "mat" which this is not. it is very lightweight and was sliding around a bit so my remedy to this was to tape it to my desk in an ideal spot using double stick tape. it will be easy to move when i want to and i have not had any problems with it. i also wish the price was just $2 when i bought it! what a deal!!! but i am happy with what i paid. i would encourage any papercrafter to get this. you will find all sorts of ways to use it with your products and if you don't already have tim holtz distress inks i would suggest getting a couple and playing around with them and this sheet.

Craft must have!
Excellent for working on crafts....paints, etc., easy to clean with a wipe or cloth!

Every crafter or artist should have one!! A MUST HAVE for sure!
Love love love this craft mat! I now have 2, one for each table. (Plus I accidentally cut one of them-opps) Other than cutting, you can do pretty much any craft related thing on it.I mix paints and inks on mine, then when I'm done I just wipe my mat clean. Keeps my table completely clean. Nothing sticks to it, so I do all my gluing on it. Whatever glue drips, spills, or just happens to get on the mat VERY easily just wipes right off!.I just won't work on anything without my craft mat under my work. It makes clean up super easy while keeping my table clean.Every crafter, of every kind, NEEDS this mat! It's one of the BEST items in my craft room❤❤👍🏻👍🏻

OK, but you can do better
This is tightly rolled, so you will need to flatten it or it will want to curl all of the time.Jen Shurkus recommends cutting it down to make several in sizes that work better for you. This is a good idea. I'd forgotten that I'd previously bought it and ended up not liking it because of the curl.Actually, though, I recommend foregoing this. Instead, get the Replacement Mat for the Tonic/Tim Holtz glass mat. That one is white (this one is beige), so you get a better idea of color. Also, that one has a "sticky" side so it adheres well to glass and other smooth surfaces--no curling, which is my biggest complaint with this.Still, if you are doing lots of heat embossing or Mod Podge or using heated glue sticks, this is a handy pad and may be the right size for you. Just try to flatten it down (you could also use a Silpat knockoff oven baking pad, which is more likely to stay flat). Can you tell I hate the curl factor? Just sayin'...

Works well for embossing and shrinky dinks
I bought my first sheet to use for baking shrinky dinks in a toaster oven. I was tired of having the occasional project stick to the parchment paper and get ruined. I haven't had a single stuck shrinky dink since I started using these sheets. For the oven, I cut the sheet to fit the baking pan. I had the smaller size so now I have two baking mats, which I switch out while one batch cools to bake another. I teach middle school kids, so speed is important, haha! I bought three of the larger size to use in classes as a base for when we work with embossing powders to make beads and glaze the shrinky dinks. I use a piece of masking tape in each corner to hold the sheets in place and create work stations. I've noticed that certain colors of powder don't wipe off very well (blue and gold), but I'm going to try the tip mentioned by another reviewer and soak the sheets in soapy water. I keep the sheets rolled up and stored in the original boxes, except for the cut smaller sheets, which I store flat on the baking sheet in my toaster oven. I knocked off a star for the price -- these are expensive!

Really good, a must have item for all crafters.
This is a really good product, it does everything it says, stands up to high heat and glues and embossing powders wipe right off. It comes rolled up so you may need to weight it down and leave it for a few days if you don't want it to furl up when you are using it. However I put mine under my cutting mat, it is flat now but the edges have all curled up and look shabby, so I would recommend putting it away when you aren't using it. Also, it is not for cutting and therefore if you cut or pierce on it it will break the surface of the mat. If that happens then some types of markers and inks will bleed into the cracks and stain the mat. It doesn't do any harm, it won't bleed back out onto anything you put on it but does look a tad unsightly... However I wouldn't be without it, I currently craft on an antique desk that is a family heirloom and my brother would throttle me if I got glue or embossing powder on it lol, I would recommend this item as a must for every crafter.

I really like this. I used it to protect my table ...
I really like this. I used it to protect my table while painting with acrylic paint and varnish. It cleaned up nicely with no residue remaining. The only problem I have with it is that it came with creases from being folded in the box. It should have been rolled on a cardboard cylinder as the creases are permanent.

Good quality
This is a useful sheet, I use it underneath my watercolour paper so that I can occasionally mix paint on it. The sheet obviously isn’t as good as a proper palette but for instant mixing - very useful.

Great Asset to Paper Crafting
I liked how it allowed the Tim Holtz distress inks to adhere to the paper. Yet when I wiped it later, the ink came off easily, left the paper clean and could be rolled up for next use.
