Honestly, all the reviews about how difficult the thermoplastic is, or how they don't stay must not have read all of the directions. I got these because I have an overbite and severe crowding in my teeth so it's hard to find fangs I can use. These were so easy. I got the first fang with one adjustment and second with two adjustments. Once they're molded, they're really easy to put in and take out. I can't wait to use these in my cosplay!

After testing 4 brands of plastic fangs for my 8 year old daughter's Halloween costume, the Thermoplastic Custom Dracula Fangs were the clear winner, despite (or perhaps because of) the time and effort required to correctly prepare and customize them.DESIGN: Unlike most other plastic fangs, these are not attached via a center piece of plastic that sits (uncomfortably) at the roof of your mouth. Instead, these come in packages of two individual fangs which are each fitted and installed separately. Ultimately, this leads to an infinitely better and more comfortable fit.CUSTOMIZATION: The majority of plastic fangs on the market are "one size fits all" (in reality, one size fits none), with little or no ability to customize. Such one-piece fangs are made for adult men with wide mouths and, at best, can be cut or filed down slightly. Ultimately, they remain uncomfortable (often painful) and ill-fitting, and they can only be worn for short periods. It is difficult or impossible to talk or drink with them, and they move up and down as you move your mouth or smile. The products with individually installed fangs offer a much better fit, because they can be custom sized, and there is no center piece to contend with. But there is still a vast quality gap even among the different brands of individual fangs. First, the only ones that will sit comfortably and securely on the teeth without falling out are those fitted with Thermoplastic. Second, among the few Thermoplastic fangs I found and tested, the Thermoplastic Dracula Fangs are the only truly customizable fangs that fit well on anyone from an adult male to an 8 year old girl (or younger). The difference is the shape--these fangs are designed so that they can be significantly shaved down without losing the characteristics which make them appear authentic.PREPARATION: The drawback to the superior customization is the time-consuming (often frustrating) preparation required to perfectly tailor each fang to a particular tooth. I've actually purchased several sets of these, and every now and then I got a good fit on the first try, but most often I needed to adjust each fang a few times to get a good fit. On the other hand, I am not artistic or crafty in general, and I firmly believe that contributed to my difficulty. me at If you have artistic talent or crafting skills, you might find this part to be a cinch! Once you get these fangs correctly sized, they really look great.APPEARANCE/FIT: The old-style, one-piece fangs are held in place (sort of) by the center piece and by wrapping around the back molars, and while they don't fit well, they usually don't simply fall out of your mouth when you open it. Individual fangs, however, aren't designed to stay in place that way, so they must be fitted in a manner that lets them remain in place when in use but be easily removed as needed. This is where the Thermoplastic and the design of the fangs come into play. First, the Thermoplastic, when properly prepared, molds to the front of the tooth and behind the tooth and its surrounding gum, creating a truly customized fit. The trick, however, is to find a solid fit that stays in place but is easy to remove without damaging the tooth. In my experience, it is the design of the plastic fang that makes the difference here. Specifically, the Thermoplastic Dracula Fangs are designed with a small hole in the back of the fang where the melted Thermoplastic squeezes through and molds to the rear tooth and gum area. This design creates a more secure yet easily removable fit as compared to other brands using Thermoplastic.The Thermoplastic Dracula Fangs are superior to the competition for many reasons, as described above, but the NUMBER 1 REASON THESE FANGS BEAT THE OTHER BRANDS IS THE AUTHENTIC APPEARANCE. Specifically, the SHAPE and COLOR of the Thermoplastic Dracula Fangs appear infinitely more realistic than any other brand I saw or tested. Everyone who saw my daughter's fangs on Halloween commented on how real they looked, and once the tedious fitting process was over, my daughter was thrilled with the look, the ease of use, and the comfort of the fangs.I definitely recommend the Thermoplastic Dracula Fangs over any of the others I saw and tested. The only reason I have not given a 5 Star rating is because of the time and potential frustration involved in getting the best custom fit. The good news is that the Thermoplastic can be re-melted and adjusted as often as necessary if, like me, you have trouble getting the perfect fit on the first...or second...or third try!

We used these fangs for Halloween in New Orleans. We went to a Vampire's Ball, and while some people were very, VERY into it... these fangs worked well for us. Putting them in and taking them out wasn't an issue, but it was a bit of work to get them to stay and such. You basically heat up some wax and then mold it to hold onto the top of your jaw under your teeth. It holds well, but after a while, they did come apart. I would definitely recommend these for someone who's looking for a decent enough set of fangs for a party. If you spend some time fitting them, they're very effective and look very realistic.

The fangs are cool, but didn’t come with any instructions on how to create the molds needed to wear them

Arrived in only a few days! Easy to use, and easy to fix. Look is great, last a long time. Only problem is I tend to lose them. If I bought 200-300 dollar pair would be next. Very comfortable, don't fall out, you can drink cold beverages with them. I've won multiple costume contests wearing them in the past!

I ordered a large and they are huge. Maybe if your a male with really big teeth they will fit. Pretty upset because I can’t return them so I will try to trim down to fit. I intentionally purchased more “expensive” teeth thinking the fit would be better.

Honestly these are some of the best costume fangs on the market in my opinion, they look very natural and they stay in place wonderfully, I have 3 different pairs! They are fairly easy to talk in especially once you get used to them. You can easily drink with them in, eating would be a no go however. Nice thing is though they can easily be taken out/put in anytime since you don't need any glue or anything to keep them in place. All in all I absolutely love these fangs and I will surely keep coming back for more
