It's just an electrical twin flex - specifications precisely as advertised; the quality of the transparent plastic casing is a little bit more robust than I thought it would be.

Genuine 18 AWG equivalent cable
Good quality, genuine 0.75mm^2 cable. Strips and solders very well, though shorter lengths do tend to pull through.Extremely transparent, with a very subtle white stripe on one core to differentiate, so ended up using a red heat shrink on the ends for clarity. Will be buying more of this and the plain white version too I think

Just what I needed for use as main wire from 12v lighting to my spot light junction box. Oval not round. Wire seems thick enough and good enough quality for my needs.
