A fun idea
This is an interesting way to casually pick up foreign words and phrases. Could probably also be used by native Russian speakers to pick up English words and phrases. Some of the transliteration is questionable but I would call it 'close enough'. Design on card back is the Russian Federation flag.

A really great gift for anyone learning Russian
I gave these playing cards to my son who is heading to Russia the summer, unfortunately he probably won't be going now but at least he can continue to practice Russian using these cards

Very useful for a beginner
Finally a really helpful set of cards for beginning Russian at home alone. I have 3 other books which are basically not structured for real beginner language. The phonetics are also helpful.
