I have multiple children who, between schoolwork and art, need pencils sharpened several times every day. As a result, sharpeners tend not to last a long time before becoming dull. These Mr. Pen sharpeners are a good balance between quality and affordability - it won't break the bank to order them again eighteen months from now but they don't grow dull as soon as others I've tried in the past. Their blades allow for a nicely sharpened point, and the graphite doesn't seem to get broken off in the sharpener as frequently as with another, cheaper brand of sharpener I have. The multipack is convenient, both for the lifespan of the sharpener blades and the convenience of not having to constantly pass a single sharpener back and forth.

Work well

These little sharpeners are AMAZING value for the price. I've used very expensive sharpeners that are much more finnicky and difficult to get consistent results with. After a bad experience with the Blackbird single stage sharpener, I gave these little two stages a go and I'm never looking back. It's almost impossible to bungle the point or snap your lead with these, as they offer even support for the tip throughout the entire sharpening process. That means no wiggly pencils in the sharpener threatening your precious point as you try and get back to work. They produce a smooth, clean cut on the wood of my pencils, and the shavings are very consistent in thickness with a perfect edge. You won't have burrs or chipped lead with these little beauties thanks to the quality blades. Don't spend 20-40 dollars on a single, overpriced and less-than-functional sharpener when you can get these for around a dollar a piece and get the perfect point every time with just a few twists!

I took a chance on this and it paid off. I feel so often that you're taking a chance on products that have mixed reviews because you're just unsure. The other reason why I was unsure was due to the number of pencil sharpeners they were giving you. I had to think back to my childhood and the number of pencil sharpeners I used to have, and I realized something... the blades do dull after time. So the fact that this is a pack of 6 is a really excellent deal. I can confirm these are very sharp pencil sharpeners that will not snag or gouge your pencils, and for the price you're getting a great deal. A great pencil sharpener that actually sharpens. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend these.

Great tool that the kids won't destroy. Like the expensive one...Simple yet effective

Sharpener works well. Blades are sharp. Work better for coloured pencils than they do with a pastel pencil (not unexpected). If you take your time these can be used for pastel pencils, but definitely not designed for them.

Nice to have a few extra around the house, nice and sharp.

Exactly as shown and worked as expected. Loved the golden color too.
