Functional and reasonably priced
What this is is a plastic box with plastic padding, and an SC/UPC patch cable cut and spliced to a 1Km spool of fibre on a coil. It works as advertised, but you need to take care when putting it away after use that you don't pinch the exposed patch cable ends in the box hinges. Its easily a good substitute for the brand name Launch Boxes at 5 times the price, and if you do damage the SC/UPC patch cable connectors you can splice new ones on. Good value.

Quality Launch Cable
I have ordered several cheap launch cables in the past and have had problems with them showing a high loss at the panel bulkhead. This one does not do that, it passes under a .3db loss with 0 reflectance. I definitely will buy another one if needed!This cable is approximately 1km long, I use miles on my OTDR and it tested at roughly .6936 miles on 1310nm.
