One serious piece of furniture
This is a great way to store your collectibles. You really can't tell from the Amazon photo, but this is a serious piece of furniture. it is not a flimsy item. I'd say that it probably weighs around 20 lbs. It is mostly solid wood. It was extremely well packed to protect it during shipping. it arrived in perfect condition. As you can kind of see from the Amazon photo, there are 7 long drawers; the bottom drawer is slightly deeper than the others. The drawers slide in and out easily and are completely removable. The front is at an angle, so each drawer is slightly larger than the one above it.I bought it to hold my pocket knives and it holds a lot of them. Most of my knives are EDC sized, 3.5" to 4". Placing the knives lengthwise, I have ample room for 3 rows of 4 knives in each drawer with space for a couple of small knives horizontally at the front. You could probably fit 5 knives across if you wanted. Even larger knives, like the Buck 110, will fit 4 across. I keep my pearl handles knives in the top drawer since they are visible thought the glass top.Generally, I'm not a fan of Sportsman's Guide stuff. I used to buy stuff from them but stopped several years ago. Initially, their price looks good, but after they hit you for "Shipping & handling" the final cost was a lot higher. Also, the quality of their items was only fair, considering that final cost. However, the price for this piece is excellent compared to the prices of similar display cabinets on Amazon, and shipping was free. The quality is excellent too. So, it was a great deal; definitely worth the priceIf there is a con, and it's only a tiny one, it is the brass drawer pulls. They are inset flush in the drawer front and designed to pivot out laterally. You push in on the left hand end and the right side of the handle swings out; you then use that to pull the drawer out. You can see that on the third drawer down from the top on the cabinet shown in the photo. When I received the cabinet, only 3 of the handles pivoted out; the other 4 were stuck. it wasn't a big deal, because as you can also see in the photo, there are spaces between the draw fronts which enable you to just grasp the front and pull the drawer out. However, with some very, very, very careful prying, I was able to get the stuck handles to swing out. Then, working the handle in and out freed it up. It looks like they may have been sprayed with some sort of protective coating and the excess 'glued" the handle in place. Although even now, I still tend to just grab the drawer front and pull the drawer out because it's simpler.I am extremely happy with this purchase, and if I can make some more room on my cluttered dresser top, I will purchase another one

Perfect for my knife collection
This is a very sturdy case that I use for my knife collection. Currently I have 95 folders and fixed blades in it with room for a few more. The drawers get progressively longer as they go down, so they aren't interchangeable. The lower drawer is taller (1 inch) than the rest (3/4 inch) this is the inside height. There is an additional 1/4 inch gap between the drawers with the exception of where the side rails are. The top drawer doesn't because of the glass top. I have no issues with the brass pulls pivoting or staying closed. Once a drawer is out a bit, I grab the drawer to pull the drawer open or completely out so I don't put too much pressure on the brass pulls. I like that the drawers can be completely removed. This is just what I was looking for. I think I might use this same design to make some larger cases for my large fixed blades, guns, magazines etc.

For the money it’s OK! No charge for shipping which is a big plus!
Well, it’s worth $89. It’s bigger than it looks from the Amazon pics. The glass on top is about an 1/8”. Don’t drop anything slightly heavy on it or it will break. The case is sturdy, and the drawers fit nicely. The drawer bottoms are 1/8” thin particle board with nice green felt on the drawer bottoms and the drawer sides are solid wood. There is pretty much thin veneer all around the case on the front trim and the sides, back, and bottom. I put adhesive pads on the bottom to protect it. The drawer pulls work just fine. They stick slightly but if you work them a few times they loosen up enough to open the drawers. I had to glue a thin strip of veneer back on the front trim and touch it up with a stain pen. The front trim piece holding the glass top in place, which is solid wood, came unglued and just pulled off, but it allowed me to remove glue and cardboard which showed on the outside edge of the glass which should have kept the glass in place. The glass just pulled out easily. It allowed me to clean the glass on both sides. I’m going to leave it unglued so I can wash the glass in the future. Oh well, made in China folks! Whadda ya gonna do? All in all it looks nice if you don’t look too close. I debated on sending it back but after touching it up a bit I decided to keep it. It looks ok on my desk and it holds a lot of useful stuff. It’s not going to be a family heirloom but it works ok for easy access storage of collectibles and whatever fits in the thin drawers! I’ll give it three stars but in reality I’d give it 3 and a half! Good luck!

where do I start..
This one looked to be higher quality than some of the other ones on Amazon... I was wrong...1) The rear top corner of the case is smashed in (the veneer is now de-laminated) came out of the box that way.2) The top draw had a random piece of wood that came off from somewhere inside the case which I have not found a home for yet.3) The top front that holds the glass in was not attached and came off when i opened the top draw.4) 2 of the draws handles were stuck, I managed to loosten them up but they are still tight. In closing I guess you get what you pay for.. this thing, if it wasnt falling apart would be a nice piece.. I did not anticipate it being of such poor quality for what I paid. I will not buy from this company again.

Excellent storage
Arrived on time but with two blemishes to the wood finish. One was caused during shipment. The other was a poor application of the wood stain. But the Case works great as a storage and display case. I placed my collection of Pocket Watches in the lower shelving and then keep the top shelf, the one with the glass top, for display of my current prizes and toys. I am very pleased with the product and may order an additional.
