Works as expected!

Great replacement filter for my DC41! So far so good. No troubles to report! The prior filter that came with the machine was very worn down and smelly. I was happy to see this filter fit perfect and cleaned up the air when I used my vacuum. I actually didn't know I had a filter down there until my husband found it one day. I probably should have looked through the manual better! Anyway- this filter is much better and I won't hesitate to buy again!

OEM part, fits perfectly, a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Works perfectly and is identical to the original filter (I left it too long before washing :( ) EXCEPT1. The washing instructions that are displayed on a glued-on sticker are missing.2. The alignment arrow in the flip-side of the filter is not painted in white. It is present but is difficult to see being in the royal blue color.In fact, I failed to notice the arrow and so did not align it with the white arrow on the half ball attached to the vacuum machine. Thus, I put the filter in and screwed it back on and thought everything would be OK. When I turned on the Dyson dc41, however, the machine would move forward with ease and then seem to stick for no reason. I checked all the moving parts underneath but no amount of cleaning made any difference. Finally, I took the ball assembly apart that holds the filter and discovered my error.Now my Dyson dc41 is working perfectly and I highly recommend these replacement filters because the price is great!

My Dyson was whistling really loudly when we would run it, we found out that this filter was the culprit. We had wanted to buy it directly from Dyson, but it was always "Out of Stock". Silly me, I should have checked Amazon to find the replacement.Quick shipping and the whistling stopped.

My wife hadn't realized there was a filter in her Dyson Animal until it overheated and shut down. So after seven years I checked it all out and we replaced the filter in the ball and the other one inside the canister. We also ordered a new beater brush to be sure everything was good. All hoses and outlets specified in the owners manual was checked to ensure there were no blockages, so I think we're good to go!

I just received this yesterday. The only differences I can tell between my original Dyson filter (that came with the vacuum) and this one are:This filter does not have the washing instruction sticker (the original does)This filter is missing 2 small indents (the original does - but they seem to serve no purpose. See picture)Otherwise it fit into my vacuum perfectly. We'll see how well it does collecting dust! :)

I was a moron and didn't realize this was ANOTHER filter I had to wash....so never had...so after a bit of time and loss of suction and calling Dyson...they told me I needed a new one at this point. So I go it and it's like a brand new vacuum!! They tried to sell me from them, but it was a bit more. I thought I'd try my luck on this...it AWESOME so far! And I know to clean it out now!!!Paulina
