Incredibly light and incredibly bright
Not often that I rave about packaging, but this product arrived in the best protective packaging I have seen. A very solid dense cardboard sleeve that actually weighs more than the product it contains. Excellent. The fitment itself uses an extruded aluminium backing to provide rigidity. It is incredibly lightweight - you can easily support the light between your thumb and forefinger. As such it is easy to install - the connection cable provided is on the short side however. The unit is held in place by means of spring clips which engage on the reverse - once connected it will be tricky to remove without damaging the clips, so hope that it lives up to its' claimed life. I would strongly suggest that you only use two rather than the 3 clips supplied to secure the light as this will make lining up much easier - two will easily support the weight.Brightness is incredible. I used 2 of these to replace 2x twin 5' tubed industrial fitments. The end result is not only much neater and cheaper to run, it is also noticeably brighter.

Long nights ahead in a very well lit garage.
I bought 2 of these for my garage and wow what a difference they’ve made. Very nice and bright lights. Photos taken during the day but the difference is clearly evident Can’t comment on fitting as I had them fitted professionally but I know they didn’t use the supplied connectors. Found the wires fine a it’s a new install but though they’ve ”updated” with longer wires (and it’s great to see they’ve read the comments and lengthened them) they STILL don’t reach the middle and so some may find that still a frustration. Listen guys, if you read this, The wires need to extend PASSED the middle of the light for adjustment purposes. I reckon if you do this you’ll sell more of these. One of the guys who fit these is buying some for his house.

Great light, cable is now longer than shown... shame about the clips!
I bought two of these... the first went up no problem. The cables on both extended just past the mid-point (unlike the example in the photo) which is just what I needed. The second... not so successful! As reported by others, the clips are very fiddly and easy to bend out of shape. What I found was that it was impossible to bend mine back into shape and the light repeatedly fell off :(...however... it's not the end of the world: loosening the end away from the cable means that the translucent cover pops off and back on again *very* easily. There is plenty of room either side of the actual LED strip and it was a simple job to make two holes in the aluminium base with a bradawl and I screwed the unit directly into the ceiling joist (the end-cap slides back on and is perfectly secure without its screw). If the first light even looks at me funnily, I'll be giving it the same treatment! :)The lights are great now they're both up.

Much brighter than the (ancient) fluorescent tube it replaced, instant light and easy to install.
Wasn't sure how bright these were going to be but pleasantly surprised. Perfect for the attic and for the garage. Very light weight and dead easy to fit although the connector could do with better insulation so I used a Wago junction box for safety.

Really bright strip light
This LED strip light was a doddle to fit and is so much brighter than the light it was replacing. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to replace old inefficient lighting or improve the light already in the room. Stylish, very low profile, weighs next nothing and is super bright.

Difficult to install due to quality of fitting fixtures.
Fitting to my garage ceiling was difficult as the clips to secure the lights are flimsy. They bend immediately as soon as you put pressure on them and the light does not fit flush to the ceiling. Good light when on but clips are a joke. If I had not taken 3 hours to fit two lights I would take them down and send them back. Pay a little more and get better quality.

Sturdy packaging and easy to install
The product was delivered swiftly and securely. The light was packaged in a very sturdy box which ensured no damage while in transit. Very easy to install and the brightness of the light is what I needed to brighten up my room.

Can't imagine the designer ever tried to fit it.
Positives - bright light, light weight, lights up quickly.Negatives - mounting clips are dreadful and, being different design from those illustrated in the instructions, it's not obvious which way up they should go. One way is very insecure but fortunately the unit's light weight means it hopefully won't fall off. The other way would be much more secure but the clips need to be spaced off from the mounting surface and no spacers are supplied. It's then also impossible to remove the unit without destroying the clips. The cable is too short. It should be at least half the length of the unit so that it can reach any existing mains connection but is in fact about a foot shorter. There's little space in the thickness of the unit to fit a connector to extend the cable. The unit emits a noticable mains hum when it's been left on for any length of time. Not my best ever purchase.
