I do design work so I'm generally very picky. If you're expecting a pressed board shelf, that's what you get, no issues there. I needed a shelf to match a similar one from Ikea but that was a slightly smaller size. This had the same look. (In the pic, its the shelf at the top). As stated, I knew what I was getting in terms of size and appearance but here are a few minor critiques:I never use the included hardward, esp. if installing in drywall. I put those aside and used metal screw-in achors. The holes you screw through could be better, see next.On the Ikea shelf the holes are just large enough to fit a pencil through so you can mark the holes on the wall. That's much easier than trying to hold the shelf at the level (yes, I used a level and so should you) AND take a drill with a narrow bit and place through the hole to mark. (Note, you don't actually drill much you just do it to mark the holes, at least if you are using the same kind of achors I used, they're "self-drilling").On sturdiness I gave it a 3 because in my opinion those shorter screws and plastic anchors aren't going to hold much (and I install/hang a lot of stuff!) If you replace the hardware like I did or screw it into a stud it would be a 5.It would probably cost them pennies to include a small sticker sheet the same color as the "wood" to cover up the ugliness of the exposed screw heads. I used a black permanent marker to blacken them, at least until I can find my black contact paper to do it better.

Very well made easy install very cute

I added these to my homes decor in my front walking in room. They are cute and durable, I haven’t added anything to decorate them yet.I am also going to add hooks on the bottoms of them for coats, purses, keys, etc!

Good quality wood and nice depth to actually keep items and pictures on the shelf.

Perfect little shelves for our nursery! I was hesitant because of some negative reviews, but these have been perfect and solid and easy to hang. The screws are not black and can be seen, which was a bummer, but I just colored them with a black sharpie. We don't have super heavy stuff on them, but they definitely hold up and look great.

I know most shelves are made of wood but this you could tell that it was literally a cut piece of ply wood. Its not cute in any way. Its just there to do its job. Very basic. I wouldn't get it again because I feel I can easily go to lumber yard and get them to cut me a piece of wood, stain it and put it on the wall. It looks cute in the picture but its soooo basic.
