Was a little nervous buying a coat for my husband on line, but this coat is beautiful! If fits him perfectly, is warm and looks great!

I ordered a large with the zip up neck insert.The most important thing about fit for this jacket is that runs a little tighter around the waist but wide in the shoulders and sleeves - a fitted cut. I've had troubles in the past with my shoulders being a Le to fit in peacoats, but I feel like I have full range of motion in my arms, so it doesn't bunch up at the shoulders when I'm reading for the steering wheel. In fact, the material is so forgiving that even if it's a little tight in the midsection, it stretches just enough to not be uncomfortable while seated and driving the car.The material seems quite warm - comparable to my previous peacoat, which I wore with a sweater outside in Wisconsin winters. I expect that with a sweater, this will be warm enough to be outside for an hour or three in about 15 degree weather.The style of the jacket is quite nice with a few issues. The detachable zipper neck is about 20 inches in circumference, several inches wider than the average neck. I'm probably not going to be able to use that without it constantly pushing against my beard and chin and opt for a scarf instead, unfortunately. In addition, the lapels aren't ironed very well. They stick straight out instead of laying flat. I'll have to try ironing them myself to get them fixed. Thirdly, the outer pockets were cheaply designed. The right breast pocket is completely fake (flap only), the left breast zipper pocket is fake, so the only real outer breast pocket is the upper left one. None of the outer pockets, including the hand pockets are able to button shut because they just sewed the buttons to the cover flaps themselves instead of making button holes in the flaps - a bit problematic if you like to have your belongings secured in your pockets.Aside from these issues, the style of the jacket is quite fashionable in a nautical sort of way. The hand pockets are at a comfortable place to keep your hands warm and the inner pockets are spacious.I'm guessing this jacket will last me about half as long as my last peacoat due to the cheaper materials, but after trying on a half dozen of similarly priced peacoats, this is probably the best quality you can find for the price (about $70).

The outer coat is fine. Good value, not great, but fine. Fits a bit snug (Im 6'1" 235lbs), but a XXL fits (glad I went up a size). My problem was the inner "sweater" detail, or whatever it is. Its embarrasingly small. It only goes down to just above my belly button. In the pictures, it shows it going to under the last button, but this is NOT the case for the XXL, the iner piece on my jacket ends between the bottom outside button and the one above. Someone else posted a picture of the issue - so look through the photos. Luckily you can remove the inner piece all together which I quickly did. Not happy. but outer jacket is decent and protects against cold.

Honestly, this has to be the best jacket I ever bought from Amazon. Even though, I don't use it that much in Southern California due to the weather, but sometimes in can be chilly, long story short "beautiful jacket".

I've ordered several similar styled jackets and this one is the best item in-line with my expectations. Common comments are respect to fit, craftsmanship and warmth.With respect to the fit, it does run small. I'm 6ft 200lbs and wear a 44 long. I ordered an XL and it fits perfect. As far as craftmanship, the 80% wool, 20% polyester is a nice quality blend for the money and I'm happy with the inside quilted inner lining. On the hand, there were a few craftmanship issues that should have been addressed by the manufacturer.The first is the outside zipper pocket, totally useless. The zipper is stylish but they failed to install the pocket.Fortunately there's are nice sized inner pockets on each side, well suited for a cell phone or set of keys. Secondly, the inside removable scarf. The zipper only comes down just above the naval. Very awkward design and a common complaint from other reviewers. It's only noticeable to the public when zipped and unbuttoned. To be truthful, most wearers wouldn't do that anyway.Finally, allow me to address warmth. Keep in mind that this item is being marketed as a "windbreaker", not a winter coat. With that being said, it serves it's purpose as a nice stylish pea coat to use during an early spring or mid winter day to take off the chill. If you want an item to deal with freezing weather you're going to be disappointed unless you're wearing a sweater or turtle-neck underneath. For me, the advantages far outweigh the few minor craftsmanship issues, therefore I will be keeping it as a welcome addition to my wardrobe.

Passform, Schnitt und Material des Mantels sind hervorragend.Lediglich die Verarbeitung der Knöpfe, ist äußerst schlecht.Ich musste alle Knöpfe (innen wie aussen) vor dem ersten Tragen nach nähen.Das war sehr ärgerlich, da zeitaufwändig.Der Mantel hält schön warm und lässt sich vielseitig tragen, ob zur Jeans und Turnschuh oder in der etwas schickeren Variante......man sieht immer gut gekleidet aus.

Ich habe ein etwas breiteres Kreuz, deswegen habe ich XL genommen und es passt wie angegossen. Das einzige was mich stört sind die Knöpfe, die Regelmäßig abfallen. Ich hab mir dann von einer Arbeitskollegin das Knöpfe annähen bei Ringen lassen. Sie hält warm und sieht sehr fancy aus. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Toller Wollmantel. Sehr angenehmes Material weich und zieht keine Fusseln an. Nur die Knöpfe sind nicht fest angenäht, nach zwei mal tragen viel schon der erste ab. Da war ich ja schon vorgewarnt von den bereits vorhandenen Einträgen.
