Pivot Works PWFFK-H04-020 Fork Rebuild Kit, Black

I bought this kit for my 2006 CRF250X. I never did forks before and I needed them done quick, so I was worried.The kit came and I followed the book and a YouTube vid. It's an easy and straight-forward job. If you can change a tire or shim your top end, you can do forks NP.TOOLS: You supposed to have a Fork Top Wrench, a Seal Driver and a inner Tube Holder Wrench. I did mine basically with ordinary shop tools and I was fine. You can too. Of course it's BETTER to have the real tools, but it can be done if your careful.I had an ordinary open end wrench that fit my tops, done(they weren't that tight and I didn't kill them going back on).I made a seal driver out of PVC which worked OK. Make sure you use fairly thick PVC(sorry, schedule#?). I also used the "old seal" method which worked fine.I used the Motion Pro wrench for the inner tube holder, but this can be made in a few minutes no prob. Others have reported using an open end wrench without any difficulties. I think an open end wrench would be prone to slipping and damaging your forks! (Sadly, the M.P. wrench didn't fit my CRF fork tops. I did a review of that tool too.)Anyway, the kit! The kit comes with every tiny speck-of-a-part you could want. I finished my job with extra stuff. The fitment was perfect, like stock all around. Buy this kit with confidence and do your forks.Also, don't try to save $ and go for the cheaper kit without the bushings. My bike only had about 70 hours on it and the teflon was worn off the bushings. You don't want to do this twice or have to wait a couple of days for parts to come in.Also, that oil comes out looking pretty tired. If your considering doing the job just to change the oil, GOOD IDEA. I HAD to do mine because they were leaking for months and the tearoff cleaner tricks wouldn't work any more.Gonna do my R next.TomJV

bougth for my sons bike. HUGE mistake. None of the seals fit correctly. Either amazon sent me the wrongs stuff or the product line is just bad. One way or another it was a total waste of money. Ended up buying a whole new set from Yamaha.Buyer beware. This MIGHT fit your bike but there is obviously a good chance that it wont and you're out of luck.

Rebuilt my crf250x every thing was perfect. To many parts because I did not rebuild the inner cartridge. Didn't really need it. Over all very good quality and it is nice that they have a life time warranty. I am going to rebuild a friends crf450r with the same kit some time in the next few weeks

This kit was awesome, it had all the parts I needed to do the job right the first time. This was the only manufacturer that I could find to do that. A buddy and I did four forks in one day and the kit worked great each time. I would definetley recommend. Thanks Pivot Works.

Great product. Comes with all seals, bushings, and o rings needed to rebuild the forks on my 2006 crf250x

Picked this up for my 04 CRF 450 to rebuild my forks mid season after one of the tubes started leaking pretty bad. Came with everything needed for a home rebuild. If you able to rebuild forks at home this is the kit for it.

This is a great seal kit. I bought it for my 2005 250x. Great quality and everything is there that you need.
