This was my first ring light purchase and for the price I’m very happy with it! The color rendition and color accuracy with the light is impressive. As a bi-color light, it goes from 2500K-8500K and at both ends of the range it was within 100K accurate when balanced against a white card. Many other lights I’ve bought aren’t even close!A big plus to this kit is the compact folding stand. It breaks down to be about as short as the light, making the whole kit small enough to fit in a small backpack! The stand gets over 6’ high, with the light getting up to over 7’ high, making it easy to use this as a key light. The stand clamps are spring loaded, so the stand is easy to move up and down. The clamps are plastic though.The light seems to keep the same brightness across the entire range of color, and at 100% power I was able to get an hour out of the light using two 2700-2900mWh batteries. Note, you MUST use 2 batteries at a time; the light will not power on using only 1 battery.While I’ve been using the lights with batteries, I did roll out the AC adapters to give the lights a bit of a ‘burn in’ test and make sure they can stand being on for hours at a time. The AC adapters come with a very long cable, not only accommodating the lights at full height, but a bit more so they don’t have to be right against the wall. The AC adapters also come with a cable tie, which is a nice added touch.

I own 3 Light Rings to date and use them for YouTube videos, social media both video and photo shoots and even my web design company. This is the best by far. It was super easy to setup, none of that clicking the light panels or plastic pieces just right around the ring. It doesn't have that huge converter block attached to the chord and just overall was simple, well built and lights perfectly. It has a higher-end look and feel to it. I hope this helps. It will hold a iPhone 11 Pro Max but not much bigger, possibly a Samsung Note but not an iPad. It was just well thought out. If I had one complaint it would be that it didn't come with a case of some kind but you can buy those cheap on Amazon.

EDIT: it did come with a lightstand, I almost left them in the box when unpacking, but the awesome people from Weeylite got in touch and made sure I found it!! Thanks again!A great option for a beauty light (makeup videos/photos, selfies, talking head videos, etc) and a really solid combo of metal and plastic. The body of the light is plastic, but all the supporting elements are made of metal, with solid knobs that feel locked down when tightened. Really loving the products from Weeylite lately, they've been doing some awesome work and you should definitely check their products out!

I am using this light for flat photography and it works perfectly.I had issues - USER ERROR - attaching the light to the tripod (just unscrew it all the way and slide the light onto the tripod like the instructions say), and they responded to my email very quickly.This light is beautiful, lightweight, and has an amazing range of warmth and brightness. It's an incredible deal. The tripod is also very versatile.

Great light! Easy to use once set up. Had a little challenge setting up the phone connection part since that wasn’t in the instructions but it’s pretty obvious. The piece that slides in to the ring light to hold the phone is a bit snug. Just be carful when sliding that in. If you have a hard time screwing that attachment piece to the phone holder check to make sure the screw threads are clear on the female side. I had some plastic debris that I just needed to clear out with a toothpick. Overall the light is great! It is such a quick set up for self tapes and you have such an array of different lighting temps which is wonderful for all skin types! You can find your best light and dim or brighten it as well. The only thing that is missing is a carrying case. Wish they would have included that. If you are looking for a portable light with batteries this ring light is great because you have both options of battery operated as well as plug in. It comes with plug. Batteries are not included but easy to find on amazon.

Easy to use, but the bottom legs get stuck when opening and closing. Not that sturdy, wobbly won’t stay steady, a little on the expensive side for the quality.

It is sturdy, easy to assemble, has lots of tone and brightness options... 10/10 would recommend.Only complaint is not having a bag large enough to carry the ring light AND the stand.

I like this ring light. I do YouTube and promo videos for my products. I love that the lights/length are vastly adjustable. The only thing is that it hasn’t been a year and the ring light portion just snapped off. It still works I’m currently gorilla gluing it backTo the stand. Since it’s passed the return day it’s looking like there nothing that can be done 🙄. For $100 I feel like that shouldn’t have happened. But all in all, it did come in handy.
