Item looks like the picture, in both color and length. I wish the fabric was a bit less slippery, as it kept falling down. I don't see how you could possibly use this as a hairband. Even as a headband, it did not stay in place.

I bought this for my daughter. She likes wearing it everyday. Keeps her baby hair off her face. What I love about this product is , it could be washed and it doesn't stretch out and get loose like other bands. Its more like a thick cloth so once you knot it around your head it just stays there.

My son wears them all the time. They seem to be very durable, 5 stars.

Was what we expected minus not as stretchy as most other tye headbands. Daughter likes it.
