Super smooth
The product is an absolute joy for those who loves to write with fountain pens. Packaging is minimal but appeasing. Pen is made of good quality plastic and feels nice to hold in hand. No clip on cap. Cap is shiny and colorful while the rest of the body is matte, which gives it a unique style. Writes very smooth right from the first stoke. Very good for beginners as the nib can take good amount of pressure. Only comes with a single ink cartridge. Does not come with cartridge converter, you have to spend another 600 to 900 bucks for purchasing the cartridge converter pilot CON70 or CON40. Somewhat costly but still value for money and easily recommendable. You may get it during sale for as low as Rs 899.

One of the best starter fountain pen
This is my first experience using a fountain pen and I was clearly amazed by Kakuno. I have got the Medium nib but it writes very thin and ink flow is very smooth. It just glides and you don’t feel any effort even when writing for long period. For someone who has always used a ball point pen this is a pleasant experience.Only drawback I see is that it doesn’t come with a ink converter and buying it separately is an expensive affair. 3rd party converters are not compatible so don’t even try.Go for a CON-70 retailing at 1000/-, works like a charm with the Kakuno. As an alternate go for Pilot Metropolitan which is slightly heavier but it comes with CON-40 ink converter so overall you save money. Writing experience is the same.

Wow cute♥️
Product nib is so cool but never felt like expensive worth rs1000 looking at it ,it writes ✒️ so nice and the pen is very light, that's so attractive and comfortable for long exam hours, essay writing or office use, misses a holder clip that's all....its very cute pen in looks and plastic is Soft and sturdy surely won't break that easily ✌️♥️

Disappointed at first. Repaired now and works fine
Not smooth at all. Writes as if it is scratching the paper. Writes very thin, not a medium nib as I had expected.Edit: i carried out a repair. I held the pen as if I was writing with the feed towards the ceiling. Then pressed the nib tip lightly and wrote to test the nib. It wrote smoothly this time. I guess it needed a nib adjustment. It works well now but the writing is still thin, not like a medium nib should. This has been pointed out by other too. Would buy another as the writing thickness is as I like it.

Not good value for money.
Though Pilot is a good brand when it comes to fountain pens, this pen does not live upto the expectation. The writing is not always smooth and in my pen there was a problem of smooth ink flow. The ink in the cartridge provided was inconsistent. For the built quality, I find it to be overpriced. Overall, not very satisfactory experience.
