A little sweeter than sugar
I really like this product. I mix it with 80% water and 20% juice to create a juicy and sweet drink in lieu of pop. Have lost 10 lbs so far, just drinking less pop. Although it states it measures and tastes like sugar, I think it is a little sweeter than sugar. I followed directions for a butter cream frosting; adding my confectionate swerve instead of sugar, excessively sweet for me. And I have used a very similar recipe previously with powdwered sugar and it was fine. I also made the cake with swerve and it, too, was way to sweet. My best advice would be if a recipe calls for 3 cups of sugar, use 2 1/2 Cups instead. I would much rather have the recipe less sweet as opposed to sickening sweet. Also, I found the need to store open bag in the fridge, keeps it fresh and keeps it from hardening. If it does harden, try putting a piece of bread to the bag, like real sugar, it should soften up. I noticed that a review stated that swerve is lethal for dog consumption. However I googled it and although it could cause gas and possible diarrhea, it is NOT fatal to either cats or dogs, unless goggle has it wrong. I would highly recommend this product. There is absolutely no after taste. It is a little costly when you get into the baking, especially for frostings when recipes require 4cups of sugar. But I can’t wait to try it in cookies. I hope this helps

Edible
This is the best sugar substitute I've tried so far. I tried Splenda Stevia and Lakanto Monk Fruit. I couldn't tolerate them. They were both too sweet and had the artificial aftertaste. Swerve has a sweetness similar to granulated sugar and no aftertaste. The taste difference to sugar was a little noticeable in the beginning. It took about a few days to get used to it and then it was fine. I did not get an upset stomach like some other reviewers. I only use it in my coffee and ice tea.

0 glycemic load
This stuff is great and doesn't prompt an insulin response. One thing, though - it's sweeter than sugar, so I would cut back on recipes. For instance, if your recipe calls for 1 c. of sugar, use 3/4 c. of Swerve. The brown sugar is also sweeter. Love the brown sugar on oatmeal! Made blueberry muffins with the granular, which called for 1 cup of sugar; they were sweet and the next time I will cut it down. All in all, a most excellent product.

Good flavor
Is taking a while to get used to this. It is a good flavor, need a little bit more than it says on the package. Fresh and well packaged. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Great replacement for sugar
My dad is diabetic and I wanted to make a pumpkin pie for him to enjoy for thanksgiving. My mom made 2 pies herself with regular sugar. This is so easy to use because it measures the same as sugar in recipes. My pie came out delicious, it was so good in fact that my guests ate my pie and left the regular pumpkin pie uneaten. I plan on baking a birthday cake next.

Adkins , keto , south beach diet , YES!
This product is a sugar substitute that finally meets my critical taste buds , I couldn't kick the sugar bc nothing tasted the same , finally got this and the light shinned from the sky. This is a complete game changer , all companies should switch to using this for sodas and baking. End Sugar, Swerve to the bird.

Not sweet, messes with stomach
It looks just like sugar. I substituted it in my coffee. 1 teaspoon per cup. Couldn’t tell I had anything in it. So not impressed. After my second cup, my stomach started acting up.Heed warnings if you’re sensitive. Will not purchase again.

Sweet like sugar
Great sugar replacement, taste, cooks, looks like sugar. Better on the digestive track than most sugar-alcohols. Still I recommend getting your system used to it over a few days. It’s not digested and can pass right through you(if you know what I mean) I’ve lost weight just switching to this and cutting sugar completely. My system can tolerate this now without a problem.
