This book is good for learning Korean.

As mentioned in the description, the book does not include the code for the online site and exercises (Pipling), but it was still cheaper and faster to buy the book on Amazon and pay for the website code separately than buy both from the publisher or campus bookstore. Just check the prices.

this book doesn't come with the PIP LANG code required for classroom usage and you'll need to pay extra for the access code. you'll only get the code if you purchase the book directly from the publisher.

This book requires audio and doesnt provide audio... the website doesn't even work right. I wish I didn't purchase

I was required to purchase this book for my Korean class at college. The book goes hand in hand with the website. However, the greatest issue and flaw is the reliance of an online sound bot that will listen to your pronunciation to determine whether it is correct or not. Be prepare to shout at your computer because even a correct pronunciation is an immense task to fulfill due to the system that gives a very small time frame to record your voice.Additionally, this book is strictly tied to your instructor. If your instructor isn't great with giving clear directions, you are going to have a blistering time of profuse fury and intense resentment. It is beyond hard to study in advance because it is reliant upon your professor. I strongly do not recommend this piece of junk. Surely, there are better textbooks that still use simplistic old ways of learning that surpass this wannabe 'revolutionary' change. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GARBAGE!Sincerely,Jason Mazariegos

I love this book it makes learning Korean easy! My professor uses this book for her class and I love the dialogues that are in the text.
