I have been on medication for depression off and on for over 40 years. I have taken medication for anxiety disorder for over 5 years but should have been taking it long before. I have had occasional anxiety attacks over the years that sometimes sent me to the emergency room. I decided that I do not want to continue to take these strong prescription drugs any more and I began to look for a more natural solution. I have been taking ashwagandha for about 8 months now and I can actually say that this has helped me just as much as the prescription drugs. My depression and anxiety have not gone away but neither did the medication make it go away. I can truthfully say ashwagandha has helped me not to have an full blown anxiety attack or to be so consumed with depression that I just can't endure the day. This helps me at least just as much as my prescriptions. Also I have been able to control my high blood pressure with olive leaf extract, celery seed, and organic garlic. I stopped my high blood pressure medication about 18 months ago. I saw my doctor today and my blood pressure was 128/78. Ashwagandha is also good for blood pressure. I plan to stay on this supplement and the other ones as long as I can.

I can't say exactly what effect this has had on my body because I take a few supplements. I have had no side effects or issues while taking it. I usually take 1 pill per day instead of 2, but may ease into the full amount. Capsules are a standard size and no issue taking them. Do your research to see if ashwagandha is right for you, but if you are going to take it, this is the right price and quality. I will definitely be getting more.
