Wow, this shampoo is fantastic! I paired it with the signature conditioner from the same brand. I wanted to give this product a try because I was tired of overpaying for my old clarifying shampoo and conditioner and I’m impressed. This shampoo lathers well with a light citrus scent and leaves my hair feeling clean and volumized with zero frizz or oiliness. For less than half the price this product is better than my old go-to. I have 1A hair so I need to use a clarifying shampoo at least 2-3 times a week to stay fresh and I’ll be switching to Kristen Ess. I did use the shampoo on my scalp and hair and only applied the conditioner to my ends which my hair stylist suggested and that worked well with this product for me.

.I love the scent so much - it's either Floral Woody, or Citrus Woody, and so uplifting!I wish it lasted longer - I feel it's gone, even by the time I'm done with my shower, and I wish it would last all day! :)...I even wish Kristin Ess would make a lightly conditioning mist (or even, an actual body fragrance mist!!!) with this scent, that would last all day,and a little stronger ...but making sure it still feels like the quality this does, not then feeling like chemicals......I also like the feel of the gel/lather - some gel shampoos, feel cold and gloppy, this one feels somehow (warm? and) bouncy,and the lather feels gentle while using(although after rinsing, my hair can sometimes feel a little stripped and as though it's gotten tangled,BUT, when I go to brush out my hair, after, what I do is,I start near the bottom of my hair, so that I brush down only a few inches, and don't pile up knots as I brush down,and then I move the brush up the length of my hair and repeat, until I have preliminarily slid out any tangles, then I brush as normal),and once dry, my hair and scalp feel balanced (NOT like I used anything harsh), and renewed and soft! I don't need any conditioner, or after shower product!...I also even love the bottle/cap, lol :) -To me, this product is ICONIC, and I hope it will be around forever! :).

A little goes a long way. I have THICK 4c hair. It got super sudsy super fast. My hair was FULL of gel so I thought I'd use a lot of products. My hair was squeaky clean after the first lather. I followed with a moisturizing shampoo and my curls were so soft and defined. My hair is literally weightless and clean. I love it. Smells great.

My hair is squeaky, it’s clean, it smells good and it’s shiny!!!!BUT… the bottle is horrible, I mean it straight up sucks. It is so freaking thin it’s almost impossible to use especially when it’s wet.

So I did a lot of research on protein buildup and came to the conclusion that was what was going on with my hair. There were lots of suggestions and most of them were kind of pricey. This one came highly recommended and was in a decent price range for a trial product.First and foremost the other posts are correct, it does in fact smell amazing. Even a few hours after washing I can still smell it. I used a quarter size amount of shampoo as suggested on bottle and I didn’t find it to lather that well? Maybe it’s not meant too, I’m not sure. I added a little bit more. I was a little bit more generous with the conditioner as I felt my hair might need the moisturizing. I left the conditioner in for 3 mins or so before washing out. As soon as I started brushing it I could tell it worked, it was so easy to brush through and felt super healthy. I can definitely say it feels like a deep clean for sure for the scalp and hair. I use a lot of oils, styling products and hair coloring so I feel my hair really needed this cleanse. Great product to add to your hair care regimen! Not as a daily/main shampoo! Only use once/twice a month to keep hair healthy!Worth the buy! No hair loss here (I was nervous reading the other reviews to be honest)!Scent is floral like and smells really good!Made my hair feel amazing, glad I bought it.

Smells amazing, leaves hair squeaky clean after using hair heavy hair products on them. Use once a week or once every 2 weeks depending if hair products or hair oil or hair wax was used.

Does not leave my hair feeling soft, my hair Is always super dry after using this product. I don’t notice the removal of build up. Used maybe 1 time every week or so. It smells great.

I love the scent of this, it's not the most clarifying shampoo I've ever used, but it does the job good enough. The smell is what keeps me coming back though.
