Easy mod to make it look like a million bucks!
Automatism keeps time and looks like a million bucks ***now for the hack***just change the band and use a dot of gold paint on each screw…not bad for $30 bucks!

High Value - Low Price
I am a watch collector with over 200 watches and I probably have at least 50 of those watches costing me under $75 and mostly purchased on AE. I like the idea of a mechanical watch for the cost difference of an actual automatic movement. I have wanted to add a Santos knockoff to my collection but most are around $100+ and usually in the 36-38mm case size. So, mostly I liked this 40mm case size. I see other reviews where this watch quits working...so, who knows...but, for now, even with this stock strap, it is tremendous value. I might end up gifting this to a new watch enthusiast but I like it for now.

Update: stopped working
Update: this watch no longer runs, even when manually wound for a long time. I have been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks now, and it is my first automatic mechanical watch. I have enjoyed watching the visible parts from the back, and it is an attractive watch to wear. But I do have to manually wind it once every day or two. I work a job where I do not move my hands around much, so it may not need as much intervention if I moved around more. I bought this watch because it was a cheaper mechanical watch I could try out, and I do wish it kept running for longer without manual winding. I do also wish that the roman numeral for 4 was IV instead of IIII as I have to look more closely to determine if it is after 3:00 or 4:00.

Broke after 2 weeks, Easy Fix.
A couple of things: the watch is beautiful. I love the dial and the blued hands look really nice when the light catches them. Also, the seconds hand is sturdy like an old stop watch. Hard to explain, but basically, it doesn't "rattle" the way a seconds hand on, say, a Timex will. As for the strap, it's garbage. Don't act surprised, just buy an aftermarket strap when you pick this up. Important note: the lug width on the one I got is actually 24mm. Finally, it stopped working after about two weeks. The hand winding feature felt like it wasn't catching the gears. I decided to tinker with it, and while I was loosening the screw that holds the rotor, the movement came back to life. All I can figure (and I have zero watch repair experience) is that it was over tightened. The hand winding mechanism actually feels better now, too. Anyway, I hope this helps someone else.

Great watch
Changed the band but the watch is solid and looks and feels like an expensive watch. The band it comes with is cheesy but a $35 band makes it look like a $5000 watch.

Fit
Watch looks great. However it is very thick. Hard to fit under my dress shirts. Wound the watch 20 times and still ran out of power within the first day.

Almost impossible to HAND WIND and VERY CHEAP!
Not much value here. Bought this watch because it was CHEAP. And it is just that, CHEAP. No complaints about its cheapness because I knew it was cheap before I bought it, but wanted a cheap watch for chores and such, something that if it got damaged, so what, I would not lose much. The watch is nice enough looking and it keeps adequate time, although I do not wear it much. I put a nicer metal bracelet on it which improves its looks considerably and makes it better for wearing. It is automatic wind, that is if worn. HOWEVER, nearly impossible to hand wind. The purposeful design, (very poor design, indeed!) makes it extremely difficult to hand wind, the crown set between two large lugs. Unless you have very tiny, and very very very tiny tiny fingers, winding by hand is next to impossible, a small wrench is needed, and then only a quarter turn at a time of the crown due to those obnoxious, ludicris, stupid crown lug protectors prevent any good winding. Don't quite know what the designers of this watch were thinking when putting the winding crown between two impossible to reach lugs, except the idiotic thinking is that one will wear just this watch and wear it for months on time without removing it from the wrist, so that wrist motion will keep it running and wound. But after putting the watch in the watch box for a long period of time (I have nearly 150 watches, so not every watch, including this one, get lots of wear). I must be more careful when purchasing watches so that I am certain that they are correctly designed and allow easy hand winding. This is my only square watch (most of my watches are round) but sadly, it will spend the most of its life in the watch box due to the extreme difficulty of starting it up (by hand winding, of course) when wanting to wear it. I truly do wonder where the brains of these watch designers are when they construct such an impossible watch to hand wind. Never again will I buy one of these things.

Jaragar watches are usually well crafted, reliable and last around 2-4 years. Worth the price.

This is one of my favorite time pieces. I wear it pretty much every day. If I wear it consistently after one good wined I have not noticed any time loss. If I take it off for a day it may need a slight time adjustment. Frankly for the cost its of exceptional value and classic style.

This is a hell of a watch for the price. It looks good and keeps excellent time. All the complications work and the watch can be set quickly. There are some very embarrasing aspects to this watch though. People always make a big deal about it and ask to see it as they think it is a Cartier Santos. I am embarrased to say it is an Amazon watch that costs only $50.
