ConairPRO dog & cat Large Pin Brush

Together with a little detangler, this brush really works great for my Golden Retriever's coat. My only disappointment is that the pins sunk down into the rubber so they are no longer as long as the rest so not very useful now. I've had it since December and I don't brush all that frequently; maybe a couple of times a month. Very poor longevity.

I have a 55# long-haired cattledog/husky mix with a very fine double coat. I brushed my dog once a week with the medium version of this brush for 4 years, and finally had to look into replacing it after a significant number of pins became loose. I bought the large brush thinking that I'd be able to cover more surface area that way. I was wrong. The large brush is an awkward size, and when I brush my dog, it doesn't feel like I'm working through his coat the same way that the medium sized brush did. Size matters in this case, in favor of the medium brush.

I had bought one of these earlier in the summer to use on our German Shepherd’s fur. It was working great for her. Then on August 18th, our home burned to the ground in the CA wildfires. I mentioned this to the company and they sent out another. Great customer service!

After three months a third of the bristles have sunk into head of the brush. After the first week I would have given it five stars, but now the brush is close to useless. I expect a brush to last a lot longer than three months.

I love pin brushes for dogs, but my last one was wooden and wasn't holding up too well after a couple of nights in the rain. The rubber also used to come out f the wooden brush. This newer design looks to have solved those problems. It's all weather design will withstand rain and it's very well constructed. I'm sure the rubber won't come detached from the rest of the brush. The pins are stainless steel, so it won't rust either.it also has a nice comfortable handle, this should help you brush your loved one even longer.

it is a dog brush. Good value... love the ratings about easy to hold and use... i would buy again but apparently I am not overly picky and the dog likes being brushed.

The grip on this brush makes brushing my Great Pyrenees an enjoyable experience for me as I have Rhumatoid Arthritis. The gel cushing makes all the difference compared to my other brushes. The brush seems to be well made and the handle is securely attached to the actual brush head. Definately a great product and I will be purchasing more of the brushes that have this type of handle.

This is a large brush I use on my puppy and I have no worries it will be used for a long time. The handle is soft and easy to use and the bristles are metal with the rubber tips on the end of each one. The brush helps to keep my puppies coat fluffy and soft. Works well with the hair dryer to get her nice and dry. If you need a big brush that will last, I feel this is a great choice.I have zero complaints!

The brush is fine but the teeth/bristles get pushed in with normally brushing of our standard poodle. This is only after a few months of owning.

The first brush sent had a few bent/pushed in pins. I returned the brush (having to pay most of the return shipping) and got a brush that SEEMED fine at first. After only 1 month of use on my bernedoodle almost half of the pins have already fallen in. Waste of money! I have now purchased a more expensive, higher quality brush.

It's very good for back coming the fur to use with the clipper. It's also really good for frequent/daily brushing. The soft gel handle feels really good in my hands too. The only downside to this product is that it's really hard to get the hair OUT of the brush. I really have to pick at it with a comb.
