I was underwhelmed with this product. I purchased this because I got a small vial of the dark blue frantage in another stampendous kit and loved the effect- these are just so-so. The colors are very similar and unless you like that really grungy, distressed look, you'll likely be like me and find yourself with few uses for this effect. The pink and blue are BARELY different from the white (this is also true for the "shabby green" color, it's not included in this kit but it should be noted that the pastel color frantages vary little from the white). Maybe it's just the jewel tones that show up better or maybe it's just not my style but I'd suggest you pass on this product.

A really good starter kit for anyone wanting to try out Frantage. You get a small pot of Aged Gold and Aged Silver, which when used look like standard embossing powders, but the magic is in the three little coloured pots of Shabby White, Shabby Blue and Shabby Pink. You don't need embossing ink, just very carefully put it where you want it to go and heat from underneath, be careful it doesn't roll around before it melts, you might get it where you don't want it to go. I would advise watching the You Tube videos of Fran from Stampendous using this product before giving it a go yourself. It adds a brilliant shabby/vintage touch to any product, loads of fun to use!

I fully accept that I might not be using this stuff correctly. I'm using it like regular embossing powder though. First off, the colors are really pretty, but the powder isn't powder at all it's like gravel. It's weird. It's too big and chunky to stick to that residue stuff from the embossing pens. If you can get it to stick it'll only blow off as soon as the air from the heat tool hits it leaving odd bald spots on my lettering/image. I got super excited when the dark copper colored one actually stuck, but then it melted so liquidy that it blew all over the paper and my words were no longer legible. I just truly hate this powder. I will likely return it if I'm able to.

Have not used this yet but I can not wait to try it. Looks way too cool!!!!

You have to be very careful as the glitter is bigger than usual but overall beautiful!

Fun colors and they work well

Maybe it is due to me being relatively new to this, but this is not something I would buy again. The different colours (white and pink for instance) do not blend into each other well. I much prefer Ranger brand.

Not very sheer but not meant to be. The powders look great but I haven't had a chance to use them yet. Looking forward to doing so

This is not what i expected. Didn't emboss, the white sand things don't do anything (except fall off your project)

I used it for a project I knew it would be suitable for; a tree with snow on ,so at the moment I've only used the white and brown, ,,.but I was happy with the effect achieved ....

Brilliant fun to see the different effects you can get from mixing these powders, and the size of the pots doesn't break the bank. But a warning: you may find that by the time you are halfway through playing with this set you 'need' all of them in the regular size...
