Kind of what the title says. A little underwhelmed, but not terribly disappointed. Here are more specific thoughts on the litter mat, broken down by pros and cons:PROS:-Mat is very sturdy. The material is pretty stiff and seems like will hold up well in the long run.-Dimensions are accurate and will probably do the trick for most litter boxes.-Price isn't too bad at all.CONS:-It came folded in the mail and the creases won't come out despite re-folding, so it doesn't really lay flush on the floor. See photo.-While the pocket litter function does seem nifty at first, it's kind of awkward and bulky to evacuate the litter, since the mat is so thick that it doesn't fold in half easily. Especially the first few times of use, I ended up getting litter all over the floor.-The material is very stiff with a printed texture, and some cats may not take to it. As for my cat, he seems to be easily able to jump over it and avoid stepping on it altogether. Not sure yet if this will be a permanent thing or if it will just take an adjustment period.

I recently moved into a new apartment that is completely carpet. I didnt want to go through painstakingly vacuuming up the area around the litter box every day or every other day so I bought this mat. It is a really big mat! I use a hooded XL litter box so it is HUGE compared to normal boxes and it extends past the litter box. I put my litter box up against the corner and blocked it off with an air purifier next to it. So the only way to get in or out is by walking on this mat. It does its job by catching any litter she drags out with her. However, since I use the feline pine pellets they dont fall through the holes so you cant slide them back in later. Luckily only a few pellets come out every time and theyre easy to pick up after. I havent seen any pine dust being picked up yet, but I also havent seen any in my carpet. Overall I think its worth having since I dont have to pill through my carpet for little sawdust flakes.

As others have mentioned, this needs to be rolled and NOT folded when shipped. I had heavy heavy books on the four creases made by it being folded and left them on for about 4 weeks. So in reality, I have only used it about 2 weeks now and it still had slight creases. I feel like I got the creases out better than some, but would have been happier not having any creases. Having used it only 2 weeks AND having changed the litter to Pretty Litter, I have noticed very little litter being trailed around the house. Yeah!

I'm so happy with this litter mat! I already owned one, but everything got stuck in it, including the litter. If my cat made a mess on the old one, it was a nightmare to clean. This one is infinitely better! It's easy to shake the litter back into the box every few days. If my cat makes a mess on the mat (which has happened a few times since I made my purchase), it's pretty easy to clean -- you just lift the top of the mat and wipe down the inside. My cat has no problems with it and even lies down on it sometimes. (I mean, I wish she wouldn't, since it's a litter mat, but I guess that means she likes it!). It's also a good size and gives her a chance to get the litter off her paws as she walks away. Overall, highly recommended!

So, pretty basic review here after having them for several months:They do what they say, albeit a bit less helpful than you'd expect. Worth the cost, but nothing too special or unique.We got 2, stuck one each under two different shaped cat boxes. The corner placed box opens diagonally, so it has less coverage from this mat in front as compared to the normal rectangle front opening cat box we have in a spare closet. The closet floor obviously stays much cleaner with this, because of that. Not to detract from the mat for this, it's obviously a caveat with the box shape and area it is in.If you have a smaller space with a rectangular box, this will likely do what you want, without killing your wallet. Otherwise, consider buying a larger one (or 2/3) to help the coverage area.As for cleaning... Well, once again depends on your usage. Different litter types are larger, oddly shaped, or different texturally. These can. All factor into how well it drops into the holes on the mat, or how well they come out when trying to dump it. Typically small grain, low dust litter (aka, the most common type) seems to work fine. I'd imagine larger grain litter would be a pain. So, just be aware.Overall, for our usage, an easy 4 out of 5.

I paired this mat with one of those litter boxes that can be emptied by simply rolling it over, and 'wa-la!' - I have the BEST system (imo) to clean up after my cat. I don't spend more than 4 minutes a day sweeping or scooping litter (I know this review is for the mat), but my point is that it's just great in tandem with an equally efficient litter box.The mat is long enough so that my cat's paws are litter-free before she steps off of it. I admit, the size can be a bit unruly when it comes time to lift it up and pour out the excess litter that it's trapped, but it does what it says it should. I've only had to sweep under this mat once, and that was because I probably dropped some litter around the mat, when I was first learning how to empty this newfangled litter box I bought.

The other 2 layer litter mat I have it great. The creases flattened quickly and it has helped tremendously. I needed a larger mat and this was the best price for this size at the time. The instructions they give for flattening the mat after taking it out of the box don't work. The top layer of the mat is lifted away from the bottom layer quite a bit on the crease lines & allows litter to just fly right out of the mat. Folding the mat for prolonged periods for shipping/storing seems to have stretched the top layer quite a bit. I would not recommend buying from this company unless they change the way they ship the mat and stop folding it.
