We have a couple of westies (long story) and about as trainable as a house brick. After 11 years with a labrador who could not be bothered to ever bark its been quite a shock. One of them barks at everything.. The tiniest noise sets him off. Driving us but more to the point our neighbours mad. Have tried numerous training techniques and then 2 lots of vibration collars all have failed dismally. This one is a bit pricey but halaluya it works, so worth every penny. You can either use it via the remote control or on automatic. We have a pretty large garden on lots of levels and some substancial trees but the remote works from inside the house to every nook and cranny. There are two levels of bleep and two levels of 'puff' of citronella. More than one bark and we push the low bleep. Carries on and gets second bleep, and then short puff and if he won't shut up then big puff. Big puff stops him in his tracks and he comes running back to the house. After a couple of weeks of this training he now goes quiet after bleep number 2. Hopefully he will get even better.It's been a godsend during lockdown with neighbours being home all the time and because of that the best £60 we have spent in ages. One problem we have had is that the remote can control two collars and we would like to buy a second collar for the other hooligan but that does not seem to be possible. He does not bark all the time but has some other habits, a couple of which border on discusting and very embarrassing. Certain that another one of these collars would work. If anyone can point me in the direction of a second collar only I would be most grateful.

We have had this product for two months and it has been brilliant in helping our dog. However it seems to have suddenly stopped working. The collar stays on constantly and on the highest setting, it will not turn off unless it runs out of charge and we can no longer use the remote control. How do we go about getting a refund or a new collar?

The product is well made and works as described. The remote is easy to use and the spray seems to work on the dog. The collar adjustment is a bit fiddly and the battery life in the spray unit could be better. But on the whole a good unit.

Unfortunately due to the material used for the collar (some sort of elasticated rubber) the collar kept loosening and because of that, kept moving out of position. Also it may have been a faulty system but the liquid didn't squirt out of the colour even though there was no light indicating that the liquid level was low. A shame really as my mum has a more expensive version and that works brilliantly.

Neat and useful for occasional use on open moor; service from company was very good when I experienced a problem, they responded by return. Excellent.

Good quality and effective

After a couple of weeks using this im not finding that it is making a huge difference to my annoyingly vocal dog. He looks puzzled at the smell and wonders where it's coming from, as i'm near by and say quiet as i press the remote he knows it is something to do with the remote because he squints his eyes waiting for the squirt.It was easy enough to set up but as the replacement canisters of either citronella or water are £10 each plus the cost of the unit itself this can be a pretty pricey behavioural therapy for your dog.As my boy doesn't have very long legs there was no way that i could see if the unit was empty or not because i could not see it, on a bigger dog you may see the light indicating low levels of fluid or empty. So with not knowing it was empty i was pressing the remote with no reaction at all, it was only a few hours later when i wondered if it needed topping up and i pressed the remote to test (after i had to removed it from my dog).When you're topping up there is no indicator either, so as you're pressing the canister into the top up hole you have to guess if it is full or not.The collar itself is massive, i cut about 5 inches off so that it would fit my dogs 35cm neck, if i hadn't then the excess would have stuck out a lot. This means it will fit dogs with huge necks, cutting it was easy with just ordinary household scissors.The two levels of beeps didn't deter my boy at all but that's just him he is a stubborn terrier who likes to do his own thing.I personally feel it is overpriced, especially as you have to buy top up canisters to refill the unit. If you could use your own water i would say the price is appropriate . I do like that you can pair two units (separate collars) to the one remote and i love that i could wear it around my neck.It was great to test this product but i'm sad to say i wouldn't recommend.The remote connected with the unit with no issues at all.
