Impressed. Feels like I got more than what I paid.
I've been eyeing the Mate X 750 my friend got but did not want to spend the price it now retails for - over $2k!! - he got it while on promotion at indie gogo and paid half that amount BUT he had to wait almost a full year to get it! After researching issues they had with delivery and quality control - I bid my time and glad I did.I'm pretty sure they all come from the same manufacturing source in China and are just rebadged from there. Some minor cosmetic changes but from what I can tell - this is the exact same bike he has minus the tires (these are meant for all-terrain vs. street. It's only been 2 days of riding on the trails for me and I'm a little taken back for the power this motor has. I'm 5'10" and 250lbs, this thing hauls like a Tesla thru the trails for me.Also, 5 stars for receiving this bike 3-4 weeks before estimated delivery dates!! Thank you !P.S. Will continue to update this review if anything changes but hoping to put serious miles on this baby.

Full suspension! fast!
My little yellow hero- X7. There are 3 pedal assist levels that vary the ride performance from easy going to fast and powerful. The 500 watt Bafang geared rear hub motor does a good job of providing assist up to 28 mph in the higher assist levels. It can accelerate quickly and it holds speed well on moderately steep hills. It has a very active feel that does a good job absorbing bumps, cracks, and small potholes in the road. That is especially helpful when riding at speeds near 28 mph because I can really feel the rough roads! There is a suspension in the rear of frame and a spring rate adjustment dial on the right side of the fork to set it to my weight and riding style. I will install fenders for it soon.

Assembly required, everything I desired!
After a couple grueling hours of assembling and tinkering to get just right, and putting in Mr Tuffy liners, I finally got mine and did a little testing... and so far... I’m IN LOVE!Took me a while to make sense of the rushed demo video and getting the brakes set good. And my derailleur was also slightly bent in, but a little bend back and it was all good.I also found the light switch and other side button that you can toggle some stats. Pressing and holding the + and - button seemed to go into a deeper menu but I didnt know what was what in that part. The thing rips though! And destroy the massive incline hill on my road that nothing else beside a car has been able to handle so effortlessly.Everything feels pretty comfortable, shocks, seat, grips. Pedals feel slightly like my feet are going to slide outward though.Im assuming the little sleeve goes under the chain. And I also have 4 screws and a couple washers I neevr used. Not sure what those were for, they seemed to fit the rack area holes though. Also seems like you can’t lock the bike from turning on with the key in any position. Its either key and battery locked in, battery locked in, or battery unlocked. But in all key settings if the battery is in then the bike can be started and throttled. Not a big deal though, just gotta take the battery out to be extra safe.It also feels lighter than I was expecting it too which is nice. Thanks again RMK! for the initial tips, although it took me awhile and I struggled assembling, your tips still helped!I didnt get many action or daylight pics but soon! Also the rim tape inside the tires was pretty flimsy, I will probably replace that with some gorilla tape at some point, as well as put some slime in just to put getting a flat at less odds.Oh and you can really feel the battery regen kick in and resist you, which I like. It feels like it’ll actually generate some good charge if desired, and give more motivation/better workout if desired to charge it back up yourself. Need to play around with it more though.Biggest gripes so far are it doesnt seem as waterproof as I was hoping, but could be easily enhanced. AndThe handlebat stem seems to have some give/movement when the bike is lifted up making a small clicking noise. Could probably damped that somehow.Ah, and lastly, its awesome folded up! You can roll/dolly it even fairly easily. Great space saver! So far so good!

Super Fun bike
So far so good. Love X7. The power is nice when you don’t want to work. Easy fits in the back of my small suv.Great big boy toy, I would not waste on anyone under 20 years old. Perfect for a former athlete that still likes to get out and go but might not be able to go all day, lol.Update later on the battery

Having fun!
The X7 is a fun and comfortable eBike that steps up the riding speed by twisting throttle so I can focus more on enjoying the ride. The foldable frame and relaxed ride feel with impressive performance and range make the X7 a good fit for casual cruising and everyday commuting. Wow!
