Black ABS Plastic Tailgate Letters Inserts for 2008+ Sequoia's NOT Thin Decals

I received my letter inserts for my Sequoia. Great packaging, and product! Quality material. Easy to apply with the simple, straightforward instructions.

Easy install, cleaned the tailgate up well with alcohol wipes (2 included) and a microfiber cloth then applied each letter individually, making sure to line up the tops of the letters (the “o” is slightly different on the top vs the bottom). None went in with any issues, the fit is almost perfect, the inserts just slightly smaller on most letters (except for the “i” which was an exact fit). Been through the car wash a few times and all letters are still affixed firmly. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It was an inexpensive upgrade for my ‘08, and instantly changed the look of my Limited. I also found it matched the 5.7 liter badges better once the black was visible.*Note, these letters are for the older second gens, with inset “SEQUOIA” on the lift gate. The newer second gens have raised lettering, with will need an overlay vs an inset. The lift gate most likely changed in 2018, along with the other redesigns, but verify before buying to save some lead time.

The letters look good on my 2011 Sequoia only wish the black color on letters could be a little darker. Overall very pleased. Big difference along with black overlay on rear emblem.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The product is thick and of a very high quality. I also loved how the letters have protective film to protect them during install. This was painless and they are precision cut to exactly match the OEM. Awesome upgrade.

Add this to my 2012 model, a definite upgrade.

As you can see in the pictures, the inlay worked great and even looked better! I love the blackout letters.

Does not fit Second generation Sequoia. Stuck paying return shipping. Don’t buy

These are thick flat plastic letters. They are not contoured overlays. Would not fit on my 2018 Sequoia. Returned.
