Anticipation wasted.
Waste of anticipation. first of all this is supposed to be the V3 and it clearly says V2 on the box and on the transmitter itself. Howevre I suspect that the board inside says V3.second of all and most importantly it didn't come with the double A battery tray which is critical and I can't use it even if I wanted to because it doesn't have the double A battery tray.and 3rd it's so small that as a pincher it's impossible to use because the switches are so close to the gimbal steaks that you literally cannot move them cuz the switches get in the way of your knuckles. when I first saw this I was like okay I can work around this I guess I'll try it but then I saw V2 instead of III and all the stickers and then I went to go put the batteries in and there was no double A battery tray absolute waste of time anticipation. All in all if none of these things mattered it'd been decent and good radio.

Great value! Multi protocol is awesome!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is awesome! I have it bound to a FlySky on one model and Frsky on another! For the price it seems really well built it has a nice feel, I think the smaller for factor makes it easier to hold and frees movement for better stick control, binding it was easy and setting up switches was also fairly easy I have only had 1 simple radio previously so I was a little nervous but I'm glad I got it ! Definitely check it out, multi protocol is awesome! It comes with a 2x 18650 holder or can be powered by a 2s lipo balance lead and has ample room in the battery compartment, a great value , a great idea

Don't buy it, quality questionable
Great radio poor execution, it works well and binds easily, but 3 days with no outside flight time and the screen is showing lines of dead pixels. The only option to return is via shipping to China via a carrier that may not exist in the USA. No offer to send a replacement or contact to help fix it. I would avoid buying or buying from this seller. It's usable for now but a brand new radio shouldnt have screen issues right away.

Bricked Itself at the Worst Time
I very rarely leave negative reviews, but this thing totally screwed me over at a competition. If you look up "t8sg usb stuck" you will find dozens of forum posts declaring a known issue this radio has where it bricks itself by having the filesystem corrupt while its turned off. This manifests simply as the USB icon displaying on screen when the radio is turned on. When this happens the radio is bricked, and you cannot control any models with it or do anything with it. There is a complex and elaborate guide I attempted to follow to fix the issue, but unlike in the video, after following the process exactly, the controller refused to function normally or display anything onscreen. On June 23rd, I bought one of these radios, and within the first two weeks I had it, I experienced this error. I could return it so I did and got a new one in July 2020. This one worked just fine. That is, until last week (November 2020) when I was at a robotics competition. I had used the radio several times that day, but just before a match - yup, it bricked itself again. I turned it on and say the dreaded USB symbol and nothing else. Thankfully I had a spare radio on hand but I very nearly was forced to forfeit the match due to not being ready in time since I was already down to the wire when this happened. It's just a good thing I even checked if all was well before I went in for the next match or I would have been disqualified.IF YOU NEED A DEPENDABLE RADIO THIS ISN'T IT. I'm switching to a Tanaris QX7, which can accept a multiprotocol module for an additional $40-60 and gains all the receiver compatibility of this radio - the only reason I had gotten this instead originally was that it was cheaper due to not needing a separate module.

Be ready to work at it!!!
My Jumper came out of the box not working i had a square box on the screen and nothing more. I contacted Jumper and was told update the firmware BOY was that not easy at all..........First you get ZERO like not even a single word of what to do your reading forms from 2018 hoping its the correct thing to do and its not working. after hours of banging my head and now 1 AM i file for a return on this POS...Then i decide to try my own USB mini not a cable you just have laying around mind you most have Micro but not MINI. WELL LOOK AT THAT THE DAMN CABLE THEY PROVIDED ME IS THE PROBLEM>>>>> With my cable i updated firmware and now it works fine.... My Jumper 16 is a whole different story and that is also a POS just stay away from Jumper...

Pretty good
Range seems to be all over then place with this thing. Its ok for flying indoors the ability to connect to a lot of different receivers is kinda cool. Also no receiver came with it.Edit: so after some time with it and realizing some mistakes were made. This transmitter comes at a good price and supports a lot of different radios. I would not recommend this for a beginner as it has a bit of a learning curve when it comes to set up and fine tuning of the transmitter. also compared to everything else out there it size it pretty ok.another note I found the free receiver it was taped to the bottom of the box.

Can't beat it at $100
The menu system didn't seem too complicated to me. Within a day I've bound it to all of my frsky quads, two planes, and an old syma x5c.Can't find any faults with it at this price point. Worth noting that the battery box takes 2x 18650 li-ion, though I've opted to use a 1200mah 2s lipo.

Pretty decen, t but their QC could stand some improvement
QC? The connections inside were reversed for the left gimbal, rudder and throttle. Oops. Quick enough to fix, but I guess they dont check every unit. Up to date links for online documentation are also needed, as well as the documentation itself, which dates to the original 2017 version. The documentation combined with some YouTube videos led to successful setup and configuration.
