Bought this pump in January and by April it was not working. Lapond promptly sent a replacement.

It pumps
Quiet and works. I originally thought it didn't work but it wasn't the pump it was a problem in the line. Sufficient pumping action for my small hydroponic garden.

Perfect for our 6 foot fountain
When other pumps didnt make it all the way to the top of our fountain this little pump sure does.Very impressed with its power.Has been running now non stop for months.No issues.

Nice pump
I’m doing a hydroponic/soil garden and I’m using This pump missed my garden it works really well very quiet I don’t even notice it’s there I had no problems with it

Great little pump for the money
It's small but it moves a surprising amount water (5.5 gallons in 5 minutes). It also comes with a timer to let you set it and forget it. Defaults to 5 minutes every half hr. Very pleased.

These pumps fail but not as much as the really cheap ones
You'll be lucky to get 6 months out of this pump which is ok. The really cheap ones last only weeks. I wish the vendor sold only the pump and not the pump/controller combi only. The controller/power supply last much longer than the pump.

Excellent small pump, programmable, it’s going to take patience and you will get it set up easily!
You purchasing this pump? Good choice. It’s a great price and quality that I bought 2. 1 as a back up. Remember to clean out debris regularly as it will be most likely be the reason for using your back up. Good company no problems. You will be satisfied.

Serious power!
I needed this for a small bucket fountain that needed to rise 3'. Even on the lowest setting it was shooting water out the top and I had to find a way to reduce the flow. It does shut down frequently for no apparent reason, which is really annoying, since my fountain is covered with river rock, so I have to constantly remove rocks and access the pump to check it and water levels to try to figure out why it stopped. It's finicky and I'm not sure what causes it to shut down because it's not blocked. But if it sense that the water level is low, it will definitely shut off. If it wasn't for the constant shut-offs it would be a great little pump.
