Excellent quality snap caps
These were the first snap caps I've ever purchased. I was initially turned off by these because of the price, but after reading reviews of other products that mentioned chipping/flaking of the paint on the caps, I decided to go with these instead. I didn't want to deal with having to clean paint chips from my gun. The caps themselves are very well made; the casing itself is indistinguishable from an actual round and each cap has a nice weight to it (slightly lighter than my 115 grain live rounds). Aesthetically, they look very nice, and the colored rubber tips make it clear that you're using dummy rounds. In terms of use, these functioned extremely well. They extracted from my PX4 Storm without issue - in fact, better than the cheap live ammo that I've been using lately. After I got back from the range, I didn't see any chipping from the rounds and they were still in excellent shape with the exception of some carbon on the "bullet" portion of the caps (made more visible by the fact that I went for the white tips). Time will tell how long they last, but just based on the build quality I suspect they'll last a while. They look extremely nice, have a weight and feel similar to an actual round, and perform just like an actual live round - excepting the "boom," of course. I have nothing to compare these to, but I'm extremely happy with what I got. If you're a little concerned about the price compared to other offerings on Amazon - as I was - don't be. I'd much rather pay a few bucks more for a quality product that won't degrade with only a few uses. Thanks, B - you've made an excellent product.

Weighted, high quality dry fire / training ammunition
These are great quality and weighted, this makes them stand above the rest. For proper holster retention testing, the light hollowed out feel to other training / snap caps, hardly makes a difference to your guns weight. These are close enough to real ammunition that they are a game changer. I will and have bought again, they are great training tools for my clients as an instructor. They function and eject from your pistol very close to the real thing, any other related products I have tried do not.

Finally -- quality and life-like dummy cartridges for dry fire practice at home.
Hi, all. I received B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds last night, 28-January-2016. I've been using THE well-known red aluminum snap caps for some time; they held up well, and they did their job; but, I got tired of that product leaving aluminum flakes in my chamber and throughout the insides of my Sig Sauer P226 9mm; hence, I started to shop around for better quality dummy rounds; and, I found B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds. B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds are made of quality materials, and they are weighted close to the real live cartridges, which I really dig; because, the added weight gives me a real-life feel to my gun while I do my dry fire practice sessions at home. For example, for self-protection, I use the HPR Black OPS 9mm Luger 85 grain cartridge, and one cartridge weighs in at 0.4 oz; one cartridge of B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds weighs in at the same amount: 0.4 oz.. When I load all 10 cartridges of B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds into my magazine and into the magazine well of my gun, I feel the real weight of my gun as if I was at the gun range with live cartridges; and, the weight adds an element of reality to my dry fire training. So far, I fired B's Dry Fire Snap Caps Dummy 9mm Luger Rounds approximately 1,440 times since I got them. When I ejected them, they landed on the carpet I set on my floor. Through normal dry fire sessions (ejecting from my gun, stacking in my magazine, loading into my chamber, ejecting the magazine from the magazine well, and having the firing pin make contact to the white primer) they held up pretty well -- the blue tips started to get nicks, but that's normal for dry firing sessions. You can see the pictures, which I posted to this review, that show the firing pin striking marks on the white primer and the nicks in the blue tips. The marks on the white primer are just firing pin marks from my gun -- not gouges. I'm very pleased with this product -- finally, I found a company that makes quality life-like dummy cartridges for my dry fire practice sessions at home. /s/ Alfonso Faustino

They do the job well. I can let other less experienced people handle my firearms without fearing an accident. They do look quite similar to the Federal Defense rounds, so you have to be careful. Would be a 5/5 if they didn't look so real.
