ugh
Worst editing I have ever read. Only got through it because it was so short. Not much of a story and essentially no character development

hmm
brief overview of my star rating system without going into too much detail:One star - bad with fundamental issues in one or more area (character, story, plot, writing, grammar, spelling, flow)two stars - mehthree stars - decent enough, but wouldn't re-read itfour stars - I really like itfive stars - I really like it and it has re-readabilityAside from being cliche and standard, I think what really got to me was the reluctance non-con undertones and that her entire identify is the men in her life. she's not a developed character - let alone _well_ developed.Omegas don't exist... until they meet a man. Their entire identity is triggered by an alpha. Not any other factor - but coming in contact with a man. Moreover she jumps from one controlling relationship (her fiancee who she supposedly loved until he decides to kill her) to another (alpha omega dynamic) without taking any time to heal or develop... because there is nothing to develop. she's a whip thin character who only exists as a foil for the omega alpha storyWhich sucks since romance is fundamentally about the characters and how their love and experience changes and develops them. :(overall, there are some major issues with this story. I probably won't read anything by this author again..

Absolutely Excellent 😀
I LOVED this story! This is one of my favorite types of stories 😊. I can 👀see this happening in the future. I mean we've already got a pandemic going on. Don't think it's going to thin out the herd much though. Thanks Callie, I'm really looking forward to reading more😁.

Loved Paige!
Paige had a hard time accepting that she was an Omega. I loved the chemistry between Paige and Kian. Once she accepted her dynamic, everything went smoothly.Thank you Ms. Rhodes for a great start to the series. Can't wait to read the next one.

Nice read
Easy, sweet and not dragged out endlessly. I liked it, it's nice to read a story without too much emotional turmoil and irritating twists which drags everything out until it gets boring. I would have preferred more detailed sex scenes and some more steam, but for those who likes romance and insta love go for it. I'll absolutely read the next one.

Cool quick read
So this was a cool, quick read. Nothing too dark like what I am used too. I would say that if you are looking to dip your toe into this genre then this is a great starter book.

Kian
Very neat and new twist on the alpha omega universe. I liked that there was no Insta love and they both have to work at it. Good story, decent world building and fun heat. On to book 2

My Best Hero of the Series--although there are many great ones to choose from!
This full series is well worth the read. The storyline makes you want to seek out Boundryland on your map and hope that you are Omega enough to find it!! I read this first book of the series, last. While there are many great "couplings" in this series, this was my favorite Hero (to date, so when the new book comes out....I may revise my thinking).

Alpha Outcast versus Unwilling Omega – A match made in the Boundarylands!
Kian – The Boundarylands Book 1 – Callie RhodesPaige has fallen for the wrong guy. Really wrong. Once she discovers her error in judgement in the most violent manner, she flees to the Boundarylands in search of shelter and protection.Kian is an Alpha who lives on the edge and away from Beta Society, as do all the Alphas in the Boundarylands. As Paige runs into the Alpha bar and announces she has been sent by Kian’s sister, a cop in the ‘civilised’ Beta world, she is looked upon as an intruder. As she explains her situation to Kian, he and the other Alpha’s in the bar all sense the arrival of Beta intruders into their Alpha Boundaryland territory. As Kian pushes Paige behind him and they touch, the pheromones released by the Alphas trigger Paige’s true nature, she is an Omega. Once the initial threat of the Betas pursuing Paige is dealt with, Kian must get Paige out of the bar and to the privacy of his own territory, if he has any hope of claiming and protecting her. He rushes her into his truck and away from the bar and his brother Alphas. This is a less dark Omegaverse than we are used to. It is more romance while still being edgy and our couple bond, mate and thrive in the wilderness of Kian’s territory. But as usual, the course of true love for fated mates never runs smoothly and this couple have a few dangers to overcome before they get their HEA.Some brutal and gory fight scenes between the Alphas and the Beta males and some steamy sexy scenes between the Alpha and Omega couple make this an 18+ read. I really enjoyed it and I have purchased the next three books in the series. Four stars!
