Awesome book... I read a part every morning and it encourages me to live a better life by changing my thinking to a positive standpoint based on scriptures.

I like reading a devotion every morning, along with a declaration from his I Declare book. I find his words inspirational, and do-able. Joel gives you the desire to be your best version and shares stories, jokes and personal insight to guide. I find his words accepting, inclusive, and motivating. Love Joel

This is written with all of Joel's amazing insite to the lords word! Just what everyone needs to hear in these times we live in. Excellent and so very encouraging everyday especially when u don't have a lot of time. Don't forget to read the scripture in the hope for today bible with each devotion! You will be blessed

I haven't made it all the way through this book yet but I think the message is about bolder prayer to receive the things you are needing in your life about changing things in your life that are effecting you. I would have given it 5 stars except for it's repetitiveness. All though many might find this helps the message sink in. I usually can't just read one at a time. I like to read 2-4 at a time. So what I started doing was skipping around in the book. Usually taking a chance and just opening the book to a random page. I did that a day ago and if that message didn't hit me right where I needed it to. It fit me perfectly and most pages you find a wonderful message that's a real gem and something you might want to write down and keep near by or highlight. If your a Christian there is a quote from the Bible to read everyday prior to that days message from Joel Osteen and also a recommended reading section from the Bible to read as well if you choose, before reading that days message. I think this book is for anyone needing some uplifting in their life and are looking for a bolder way to pray and as it says on the cover for increasing God's favor in your life. If your struggling with something in life that's holding you back or bringing you down or if your hurting and it's affecting your life this might uplift you some but to me it's not the complete answer or all the help some people will need to change their lives. It will depend on the person whose reading this book. I don't doubt many people find the answer to something they were seeking but If you have serious problems bringing you down please seek a doctor to help you as well as prayer and enjoying this book all the way. :)

Awesome! I bought the Kindle version, and would read one each day whenever I had a few minutes. Great use of time spent waiting on line at the grocery store, etc..
