I bought this to replace a different brand of timer that was bad out of the box (bought end of last season on clearance and couldn't return). I've always had good luck with Wildgame Innovations products and will buy more.

I have an older deer feeder and this works with the feeder but it doesn't fit in the compartment. We had to build a new compartment and attach it to the feeder so it would be waterproof. It is easy to program and so far works as expected.

I have a few of these controllers close to 11 years old still going. Some of them only last a few years. But it's still cheaper than buying the kit.

We purchased because my husband cooks steak on Friday nights at the VFW. He kept breaking the little store bought thermometers. This thermometer really stands up to the test.

This is the exact timer that came with our deer feeder many years ago. Delivery was fast, installation easy, and worked as it should. Very pleased.

This timer has worked perfectly for me when I use it with the motor included with the Wildgame Innovations feeder/timer combo. I have three of these setups running year round and I have not had a problem with them. I attempted to just replace the timers on some older feeders and kept experiencing weird issues. The batteries would drain in a week and the solar couldn't bring the charge back up bc the batt was too dead or the timer would read that it was "jammed" when the feeder was operating correctly. When it goes into the "jammed" error mode, the timer ceases to work and feed does not drop. I'm replacing all the frankensteined timers/feeders with the combo units you can buy for $42 on Amazon. I also buy the solar panels to keep the batteries charged. Academy actually has the solar panels cheaper than Amazon so it's almost worth it to buy there because of the return policy.

Works as it should.
So glad this version has the rpm set option. The original did not have that setting and would sling the feed 15ft or more. This helps keep the feed in a more concentrated area.
