It is a great book. I like writing things down to sort them out. This book also helps with learning why you have tried other systems and seem to always end up back to square one. I felt this helped a lot and no matter where you are in life you can learn something as you work through it. It is not however a "arrange your kitchen this way, clean your bathroom this way, and you must dust this way". It is more about how to set up systems that will work for you. Why other systems did not work for you. Every household is different and will need to tweak things to fit them. I suggest her other books if you need a different type. This is a journal, just like it says, so lots of writing, thinking, and learning how to do things differently to find something that works better for you.

Helpful & Entertaining-- but most of all informative and well written by obvious expert in the field of organization!Cassandra Aarssen's a clutter busting genius who shares her knowledge in the most entertainingly empathetically, non-judgmental way. Aarssen's categorization of so called 'messy people' into loveable Clutter- "Bugs" who are NOT messy-- they just organize differently is pure... well genius. I've watched her videos and bought this book-- WOW! WHAT EYE OPENERS they they have been!

This is a wonderful book. I have read all of Cass’ books, and watched most of her videos on YouTube. She is funny, and I read each of her books within two days. Her methods really do work in the real world. Worth every penny to buy this book. Buy all her books. And check out her new show Hot Mess House. Her methods will help you to start on your organizing journey.

Has great ideas in it

I like the ideas and the notebook style of the book. A lot of it did not apply, due to a house fire last year, but I took from it what I could use.

Sometimes a person can say things you may know but in a way that makes you feel like doing so (cleaning out your home) isn't the soul destroying journey it has been in the past. I will be holding onto this book for a bit to encourage me when I start to lag. So far I have taken out 3 bags of forgotten papers I needed to shred, tossed 2 bags of misc scrap I stuck in closets and drawers and sorted bins and drawers in the house that didn't belong anymore. I will have a few boxes to donate after I get through the basic sorting. Really good read

This book, which is actually a journey out of a cluttered mind has changed my life!! Who knew that facing some very core issues around holding on to stuff could change your life? Well Cassandra did. I started out watching her YouTube channel and became a fan as many have. Now I connect with her electronically and through her books. She actually makes cleaning exciting. Check out her book you will not be disappointed.

Really helps you to declutter although for me it is a work in progress!!!Certainly helps to motivate and keep going!

a book about decluttering that you can read and actually use, there are sections to fill in, tick off, notes to write etc.Already made a start, got three boxes full and many more to follow, unless other declutter books in the past, this is one book that won't be joining the rest of the stuff to the charity shop! thanksI would recommend this book
