Battery is a direct and exact replacement for the ProSeries PSJ-2212 (as mine is pictured). During purchase, I was mostly concerned about the battery case measurements being identical to the old battery, and terminals being "insert" as described in Amazon advertisement and as shown in their picture. This is because of the stubby wires within my unit, allowing little slack nor adjustment to alternate attachment angle(s) or configuration. Well, yes; Amazon's description, picture, and the battery case measurements are exact as shown on web page. This made the battery a direct drop-in piece. Also, my battery came with 2 new wire attachment bolts using either a 10mm socket or a #3 Phillips Screwdriver. Simple and Easy. ......Durability has been proven: You may tell my jump-pack goes through a lot of usage by the case wear-n-tear. I've jump-started about 10 cars since I installed the new battery. And as shown, the battery still retains a 12.9 volt measurement on display; this is after a full recharge about a week ago, and it's been sitting "dormant" (ready for next usage) since then. The key to keeping the battery strong is regular and consistent recharging. Never let standby voltage drop below 12.4 or so. People tend to forget that a little TLC (meaning that even these stand-by jump packs) and occasional recharging to top-off voltage will dramatically increase their life span, and won't leave you stranded on side of the road when you actually need it. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It sure beats paying double for a whole new JumpPack, when all you need is the battery and a little patience with all the screws holding the case together. Sorry I don't have a picture of the actual battery (it's inside the JumpPack), but I took a screen-shot of the advertisement picture. And this is the exact battery you'll get... Again, note the terminal detail.

An exact replacement for my DSR PSJ-2212 jump start battery.After about 10 years, the battery in my PSJ-2212 would no hold a charge any more. Rather than buy a new jump starter (this one cost about $120 10 years ago, and comparable ones now look to be costing around $200), I decided to just replace the battery. There were a *lot* of screws to take out to take the case apart, but other than that replacing the battery was a breeze. I used a 10mm short socket to take the bolts out of the battery, and I was able to use the exact same bolts with this new battery (if you lose your bolts, there are new ones included with the new battery, as well as washers and lock-washers).When I put everything back together, the new battery showed 12.8 volts, and a 100% charge (ie, I didn't even have to charge it). I guess the true tests(s) will be whether it jump-starts cars as well as the original DSR battery did, and lasts 10 years like the original DSR battery. (I will try to remember to update the review if it falls short in either regard).I'm including some pictures - the one that says 'DSR' on the battery was the original one, and the other is this replacement battery.

I have been using this battery for a few weeks now. It fit in my jnc770, but it struggles to jump 1 car. I work on a car lot and need to constantly be jumping cars. The battery is weaker that I had hoped it would be.

It’s a direct install and reads 100 percent on my DSR jumpbox. Left it hooked up charging overnight and when it came to perform all it did was click. Rechecked connections and tested with our dealers battery tester. “Replace battery” is what it said. Waste of money. And no returns. Steer clear
