What i do really like about this base is that it has 4 wheels that can be raised and lowered.All other Options I have found need to be tilted to 1 side like a dolly. that is HARD with a 265lb base + giant umbrella.Once filled (As much sand as I could fit then top-off with water+antifreeze) this base is SOLID.With the 4-wheel design, this is the best option for such a heavy base if you plan on moving it often.I dis have one small issue with my base, but their customer service reached out and took care of it it immediately. Not only am I happy with the base, but i would definitely buy from this brand again.

The media could not be loaded.  Holds my 10 x 12 purple leaf umbrella in place nicely even with wind. It moves so easy, even my 11th year old daughter can move it all over my backyard if she needs to. And if you don't want it to move, you can always pick up the wheels with the provided tool. It's not that huge like all the umbrella bases I bought before which took half of my backyard they were huge but thin. This one is small and thick. Installation was so easy.I just put my umbrella on the top of this base and fixed it with four screws which came with umbrella.Amazing😍

The base has 4 threaded holes for screws to attach to your umbrella. One of the holes had no threads at all. Because my husband owns a machine shop he was able to tap the hole to add the threads and attach the umbrella. Not many people would be able to do that and would have to return the base.Also - I assumed that there would be a simple lever to lock the wheels but there isn't. There is a crank included that is inserted thru a hole above each wheel to hand crank the height of each wheel. What a pain!

Excellent quality product! It took me about 5 minutes to attach my umbrella to the base and fill it with water. The wheels extend and retract via a crank, which makes them easy to adjust. Additionally, the wheels are multidirectional and roll easily, allowing us to position our cantilever umbrella with the sun. The base is rather large, so it may not accommodate small areas, but living in a windy area, we needed the weight and the size doesn’t bother us. I would highly recommend this product.

I had to make a few adjustments for this to work with my cantilever umbrella because the holes did not line up. I works perfectly now.

One of the holes was not tapped (was not threaded). I had to tap it. Pain the the a$$And a run to the hardware storeOther than that, it is fine

I had purchased a similar product from a different manufacturer. Unfortunately, it did not fit my umbrella base because it was not really universal! This base seems to fit that bill quite well. With its metal plate on the top my umbrella bolted directly onto it within minutes. The roller base underneath is sturdy and adjustable. I had it setup, filled with water and set in under 15 minutes.I would highly recommend if you have an off-set umbrella you get additional weight on the base. I ended up buying 2 donut like canvas bags that fit around the umbrella base and 4 flat canvas sand bags that sit on the corners. Wind is always a concern and the taller/bigger the umbrella is the more weight will be needed.

Base works great. Like the ease to shift umbrella with the foot lever. The wheel base makes it easy to relocate on patio. Directions not the greatest but fortunately experience with IKEA furniture helped.Would recommend this base
