but I’m pleased to say it’s fine
I bought this to replace my broken Kettler P which was over 4 times the price and I was a little worried this bike would be a bit cheap and nasty, but I’m pleased to say it’s fine, okay it’s not as well finished as a more expensive bike but it works just as well, took me about 30 minutes to assemble on my own using the instructions provided, only thing they don’t mention is it’s a lot easier to fit the saddle to the saddle post then fit the saddle post, and when you attach the tension controller cable it’s easier if you have it set to the lowest setting of 1 on the controller so you have more cable sticking out!I’m just over 6 feet and it’s just about okay with the saddle on its highest position, any taller than that and I’d look elsewhereI’ve knocked it down 1 star as the pulse rate is utter nonsense, it’s giving me a reading of over 220 when my heart is beating no more than 80bpm, I contacted JLL and they said “We can confirm that the pulse plates take your an average reading of pulsations per minute. This is a different calculation to the beats per minute you are referring to.PPM measures the rate of palpable blood pressure increasing throughout the body, (it measures how much blood passes through your veins) this may display around the 76ppm mark when you first touch the plates and then it will alter accordingly.BPM (beats per minute) measures the amount of time the heart will beat per minute. It does this by measuring the amount of time the heart contracts in one given minute.”I pointed out it clearly states beats per minute in the monitor instruction manual and who’s ever heard of PPM?

Over 8 monts of constant use this bike has proved fine.
I've had this bike for 8 months and "traveled" 1,700 km's on it and it's been fine!.I'm 59 and live in a very hilly and windy area, prior to purchasing this item, I wasn't getting enough exercise and was putting on weight, becoming fitter through using this bike daily, always on number 5 resistance (mid range) spurred me on to buying an e bike, sounds lazy but you still have to pedal them...The great thing about owning an exercise bike is that it just sits in my spare room and I can use it when I want, no worrying about the weather....I have a tablet propped permanently in the 'tablet holder' so i can l;listen to the radio, music, watch TV.. When I first started using it I followed cycle routes that people had filmed themselves riding and posted on YouTube.I'm fit enough now to run a few miles as well. I certainly wasn't before i started using this bike and it is sturdy and adjustable...so I can recommend it.

Smart looking and smart.
Assembly is simple and straight forward taking about an hour with all tools provided in the pack . So no need to pay £75 for assembly. The only snag I experienced was joining the tension cable where the instructions could have been a little clearer. (Make sure both cables are fully extended before trying to clip them together or you'll hurt yourself before you ever get on the machine. Otherwise it's a robust and sophisticated bit of kit which is adjustable to fit the user . Takes a bit of space up but is portable - just. Small wheels in the front stabiliser help.

Good basic bike
Bought to help rehabilitate my knee after surgery 18 months ago, and its done that just fine. At 6'1 the seat just about goes high enough, but much taller and I expect it would start to feel cramped. The resistance isn't going to challenge an enthusiast, but it'll be fine for your average person, and it's also quiet which is nice. The only problem I had was that after the first month I began noticing rubber shavings collecting on the floor under the bike. After taking it apart it was quite clear that the rubber belt was slipping off one of the wheels which I think acts as a tensioner. I managed to use 5 or 6 spacers to align the wheel better so it doesn't chew the belt up, but this is clearly not something a buyer should be expected to do.Other than that issue it has been good value for money.

Great quality for the price.
This is a really great bike. It doesn't feel cheap and shoddy like some bikes in this price range; it actually feels similar to some of the gym models. It's moderately awkward to put together but one person can do it.It's suitable for heavier people due to it's sturdy construction, which is a plus.

Stunning value and very solidly made
This is an incredibly good bike for the price. It's very solid and well made. It also runs pretty-much silently. The couple of reviews suggesting pedal problems etc. may well be as a result of not following the assembly instructions properly. If you don't put the correct pedals on the correct side you are going to have problems. The manufacturers (probably exasperated) have decided now to include a separate sheet making this clear. This is actually standard on any bike by the way: left to left and right to right and one threads anti-clockwise, the other clockwise.I love the solid feel and I'm a well-built and muscly 195lbs, 6'2". The machine doesn't rock, even when I'm out the saddle in full-resistance hill climb mode. Even then the machine is virtually silent.Really, this is incredible value.

:(
Un bruit type « clack » apparaît à chaque coup de pedale. C’est assez agaçant :(
