Provides a good connection where some degree of bend is required.
Used these to allow a very slight bend in 2 sewer pipes in order to join them. I also have several used on my pool solar panels and they have held up well.

They will fit over a 2 1/2" PVC pipe!
Spec show 2.4" inside diameter. Will these fit over a 2 1/2" pvc pipe? I was told by the Manufacturer that they will not.I took a chance and with some minor effort they DO FIT! You have to loosen the metal tab to its last thread and work the rubber edge over the end of the 2 1/2" pvc. The rubber is flexible enough to stretch over the 2 1/2" pipe. It's a perfect fit on the POWERTEC 70133 2-1/2-Inch Blast Gate for Dust Collector/Vacuum Fittings which is 2.46" OD.
