Wonderfuul hand tool!
I can't even count the number of Narex tools I have. If your an old time carpenter (lots of hand work involved in your projects), these tools (especially rasps) are made for you. They are proof that you get what you pay for and they deliver some amazing performance. I actually find that (in many circumstances) these rasps are faster than power tools with much better control and results. Way ahead of the game when it comes to control as you can see what your doing without being blocked by a larger machine. Can't say enough good about the quality and performance of a Narex tool.

Decent Rasp, but NOT Fine Cut
This is a solid beginner/intermediate rasp. Removes stock well (I used it on rock maple). But be warned: it is NOT a fine cut. It will not leave a smooth surface. If you try to use it to smooth/finish your work, you will end up gouging out wood. I'm holding onto it because the handle is nice, and it will be a good 2nd cut.

Beautiful tool, feels good, best I've used
Beautiful tool, obvious quality manufacturing, feels good in the hand, works brilliantly, worth easily twice what is being charged. I've since bought several more variants from Narex and am equally pleased in everything from the company that I've had the pleasure of using. If you're at all thinking of trying Narex tools -- go for it. Really; I'm rather critical most of the time, these are good.

and this worked great.
Really well made tool. It costs more than some of the others I looked at, but when you're using it you can tell where the extra money went. First job I used this for was in red oak, fitting though tenons on a curved arm Morris chair. There was a lot of back and forth fitting, and this worked great.

Pretty good, a bit coarse
Pretty good rasp for the money. I purchased a "fine" which I found to be a bit coarse.

A fine rasp
This rasp is excellent. I particularly like the handle. It's large and fits my hand well. The teeth cut well, and you can remove a large amount of wood quickly with the coarse rasp. I dont know how it compares to more expensive rasps, but i find these to great rasps at a good price

This is not a fine cut rasp.
Beware if you are looking for a fine cut rasp, this is NOT a fine cut model, rather it's a course one and removes material (in my case hardwood) aggressively and requires cleanup with a (guess what) fine cut rasp.

looks and feels great!
I have nothing to compare against, but this really feels nice in the hand. As others mentioned, its not 'fine'. Definitely worth the price...
