Save your money
I am new, so tried a few methods / tek. This one produced nothing but contamination.Same spores, same conditions in different mediums (Ben's instant rice, all in one grow bags, millet grain jars) all doing great. This was a waste of money for me. I have 6 un-used jars of this left I won't risk spores on.

Most Jars Where Bad
I had 12 Jars using the same spores and process only 5 of of the Jars have started and the other 7 show no signs yet 5 days later.

Too dry!
Not one of the twelve jars fully colonized. They all dried out and stall the mycelium. I can’t just squirt water in the jar and expect it to be sterile. I don’t have a pressure cooker to re-sterilize. I did I’d make better ones at home for hell of a lot less. Unreal! Thanks for nothing Bozo. Psh!

Lighten up on the air filters
Air filters are way to thick. After about a month and a half of my jars not colonizing further I knew it had to be gas exchange so I poked a hole through one of the air filters and it literally popped to let out warm air. I was like noooooo. Took 6 weeks from inoculation to figure that out. 3 jars got some kind of rust looking contamination on mycelium.

Read Review
BRF a little too dry, too much tape on gas exchange hole. Not all bad though, and sterile.

Jar lids were all loose and most looked bone dry.
arrived with lids barely on and tiny bits of aluminum foil on top not covering them. After two weeks they don't appear to be contaminated, but about half of them are so dry the colonies are about the size of a quarter. I will probably have to re-steam those and waste another syringe. Not sure if the others will fully colonize.

Don’t waste your money.
They were totally too dry, I inoculated them on 1/22 it’s 2/14 and no myc growth whatsoever. They won’t even break apart when bounced on a ball/tire.
