Alton's Pandemic Preparedness Guide: Dealing with Emerging and Current Viral Threats

I have followed the Altons for years now. I think I have all of their books and they are great. This book is exactly what I was looking for. I've seen a lot about COVID-19 all over but I really trust the Doctor and Nurse after all these years. It has info about the flu and some other viruses and I now see how those could cause pandemics too. I think the best part was how to care for someone when they get sick at home. I really wanted to know about that. Once again I'm so happy to have this book too. Thank you Dr and Nurse Alton for everything you do.

I have followed them on social media for a while and they have a very down to earth attitude toward medical info. I have others of their books, but this one explains the current pandemic very technically, yet in layman's terms. The first half of the book goes thru the type of virus and bacteria that plague the world. Then they have solutions to protect and educate us in the second half.Very well written.

Excellent, timely book. Amazing how up to date the information is, and the quality of the subject matter.Touches on many of the questions people are trying to find answers for during the covid-19 pandemic.

I have all of the Alton/Doom and Bloom Books! They are so full of great easily understood information! If you follow what they talk about and prepare to your own needs you will be a lot better prepared and ultimately feel a lot safer in a disaster! This book is full of current information and relative needs and precautions to take without all the fear mongering present in so many books. Thanks Joe and Amy!

A shame another Doctor spreading misinformation about the current "Pandemic"

I highly prefer to get my medical advice from someone I trust, and I trust these folks. There are no bells and buzzers, just useful info. Everyone should have this book in their library.

Good product

I purchased this book by mistake. I wanted the antibiotic book. They look similar.Anyways, this book should be called “For Dummies” cause it contains nothing new to learn to those actually living IN a pandemic. Really disappointed. You want to know about what may happen in pandemics, then get it. But don’t expect helpful information to keep you alive.
