Works well as specified
Works as advertised. I replaced my defective PCB with this for a flag pole solar light with 3 rechargeable batteries. Easy to hook up with clear labels of the wire connections on the PCB.

these work perfectly for 5v systems
I'm excited to share my experience with the 3Pcs Solar Charge Controller Board for DIY solar energy projects. I was able to create awesome solar-powered Halloween decorations in no time with these. They are super convenient and easy to use. All you have to do is connect the solar panel, the battery, and the load to the board, and it will take care of the rest. Great circuit charge control switch.
The media could not be loaded. Used this circuit in combination with a small Mono, crystalline, solar panel, led flame diode , lithium battery, old oil lamp, on a decoration for Halloween. Works great. Circuit charges the battery during the day. Sends the stored energy in the battery to the diode light one the solar panel stops sending voltage to the circuit. Switching on the light. The price is great. The quality is top notch. Perfect welds. Great value. Buying more to build some more yard gizmos

Works well, doesn’t protect from over discharge
This product works as described but doesn’t have battery over discharge protection. You’ll need to use protected batteries or add a protection circuit to your build.

Not standard 2.54mm pitch hole spacing
Work fine but I tried to put a 2.54mm (standard pitch) connector in the holes and the spacing is too narrow. Why doesn't it allow regular headers to be soldered in?

Inexpensive solar switch that works
Essential for my garden light fixtures. They work very well with a 6x8 solar panels.

They work.
I had a fancy solar light with the controller integrated into the light board...It failed, so I bypassed the controller and hooked this up inline to handle the charging and auto on/off function... They are working perfectly for months now. I will say they have a little more variance as to when they turn on and off but that is partially due to the solar panels volts out and partially due to the chips just being less sensitive probably... Anyway I used two of them, didn't test the third, both turn on within about five minutes of each other and work flawlessly.
