Absolute must-have!
Ride a 2004 Ski-Doo Rev 600 X that has been re-built and stretched. A back-country machine. Bought it and failed to notice no scratchers. Rode an early season trail in Northern Maine and overheated very quickly. Bought these after seeing them on rental sleds I had used in past. Had to drill holes for them but after that installation was a snap and end result is magical! I ride in the Moosehead lake region and cross the lake often so these are a must and work perfectly! Torqueing the bolt to 45 is the magic number along with the lock washer. They work in reverse as well. Just put them up when running up and down your trailer.

Good Quality
The product was what I expected, came with proper hardware, and was easy to install.

Decent scratchers
These scratchers perform well for what they are intended... throwing snow up under the tunnel to cool the engine. Although it seems with some curve in the cable the scratcher could be more effective at digging into hard snow or ice, but performs well none the less. I believe these should not cost quite so much. Be sure to check mounting bolt occasionally as they do loosen over time despite lock nut and tightening them very hard.

Good buy
So far so good. A bunch of reviews were negative but they seem to holding up!

The metal cord started to fray first ride
The outer portion where there’s a compression point to hold the cable was not done correctly and disassembled it’s self first ride
