I cannot recommend purchasing this from Amazon
This is a really lovely rolling cabinet. The quality of the manufacturing really stands out. However, I cannot recommend purchasing this from Amazon. The packaging was woefully insufficient, with no support or padding provided for the corners. I purchased the top box for this from Amazon and was really impressed with the packaging, which is why I took a risk on this, but the packaging for this was incredibly poor. There was a single width sheet of cardboard providing a hat on the bottom, and the top, leaving all of the sides exposed, and again, no padding or support in the corners. The cabinet arrived scratched and scuffed from the exposed sides, and more importantly, completely out of square from taking some hard hits on the corners. The sheet metal is folded in places, and all of the drawers rub now when you open and close them. Again, it's a wonderful cabinet, but I would highly recommend purchasing it somewhere else.

The absolute best brand of tool storage that you can buy!
Kennedy makes the best PERIOD!! They made the first roller cabinet and they haven't been in business for over 100 years because they build junk. I have 2 of these along with 2 model 2602 chest bases (a.k.a. middle boxes) and 2 model 266 mechanics chests. I use one set for my fractional tools and the other for my metric stuff. The bottom area of this roller is handy for storing bulky items, extension cords etc.

I bought 3 of these Kennedy Model 277X so called "industrial" cabinets 2 years ago. What a disappointment. Definitely not the Kennedys my father had all his life. Already broken drawer slides, casters, thin gauge metal. Junk considering what I paid for them. They already need to be replaced. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away.
