Works perfectly to bring comb height up so I can use a Meprolight RDS red dot with the Kicklite stock on a Remington 870. The Meprolight is a tall sight so I used the cheek rest fully extended. It could be set lower if you wanted to use a lower profile red dot.The kicklite stock periodically needs retightening, but the cheek rest has not come loose at all.

Easy to install and works as intended, but I reccoment setting it where you want it and fixing into position with a physical block. During prolonged shooting, the weight of my cheek/head pushing down on the riser forces the riser to slowly slide down out of position. The screws locking it in position are not great at stopping this slippage. Once blocked into position (I used small wooden dowels cut to length and placed into the adjustment slots to physically prevent movement), it works fantastic.

Bought because it was a direct fit to my phoenix tech tactical stock on my 835. This might be suited for low recoil weapons or weapons which don’t see the field. After a few days of turkey hunting the riser was wobbly and after a shot fired the rider would fall. Plus it is not long enough for my whole cheek to rest in my natural shooting position

Mine arrived later than expected with one of the two mounting nuts missing from the sealed package. There are two (2) main parts...one is the mounting plate, the other the cheek riser. It might be noted that the mounting plate has the holes for mounting on the wrong side (which it the curved part of the rifle stock.) I had to drill new holes to have the plate sit tight against the stock. That aside, not a bad product and can be used either left or right hand.
